• Gurudwara Bangla Sahib - Next, visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, a Sikh Temple located in the heart of the capital city. It is one of the most significant and sacred Sikh shrines, attracting thousands of followers and tourists from around the world. The temple is easily identifiable by its golden dome and tall flagpole. The grounds include the Gurudwara, a kitchen, a large holy pond, a school, and an art gallery. As with all Sikh Gurudwaras, the concept of Langar (Community Kitchen) is practiced, allowing people of all races and religions to eat in the Gurdwara kitchen (langar hall). The food is prepared by gursikhs and volunteers. Visitors are requested to cover their heads and remove their shoes. Anyone can volunteer at the Gurudwara.
