Taj Mahal - Upon arrival in Agra, you will be greeted by your tour guide who will accompany you to the iconic Taj Mahal. Around 9:00 am, we will reach this magnificent monument. The Taj Mahal is a must-see for all visitors to India and is renowned as one of the most stunning architectural marvels in the world. It stands as a symbol of eternal love and was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in loving memory of his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal, who tragically passed away while giving birth to their fourteenth child. This majestic structure is not only considered one of the seven wonders of the world but also holds UNESCO World Heritage Site status.

Agra Fort - The Agra Fort is yet another feat of the Mughal Empire, which was then the erstwhile seat of the dynasty. This imposing structure is a must-visit in the town.
Itmad-ud-Daula - The Tomb of I’timād-ud-Daulah is a stunning Mughal mausoleum located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. Great tour! - I'm in the car going back to Delhi from a day trip from Delhi to Agra (starting at 2 am), to see the Taj Mahal, baby Taj, and Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri. There was a bit of a mixup on which hotel to pick us up at (turns are there are at least two hotels in Delhi with similar names), but that was quickly resolved and we left for the Taj Mahal to see it at sunrise. We had a great time there, baby Taj, and Agra Fort with our guide Wasim Khan, whose day job is teaching Mogol history at a local university. He is from Agra and was very knowledgeable, could answer all of our questions, and took phenomenal pictures. We then went to Fatehpur Sikri, where we met our guide Ali, who was also very knowledgeable, having grown up there and started working at Fatehpur Sikri when he was a kid. He also could answer all of our questions and took phenomenal pictures. Our driver, Rajiv, was amazing. For those of you who haven't been to India, driving is not easy. People drive on the wrong side of the road, there are people and cows crossing the highway at random places, there are a lot of slow vehicles, and everyone is merging when you would not expect. Rajiv was able to navigate all of this with no fuss. I even got a nap in. Due to rapidly changing traffic, Rajiv dynamically changed routes to save us potentially hours of time on the road. I would trust Rajiv with my life again on Indian roads. A couple of things to mention. We were brought to shops with great demos on how things are made, such as the inlay work at the Taj Mahal, where the salespeople are very keen to make a sale, or to charity workers who really want you to donate. You are not obligated to do so and don't feel pressured to, just walk away if you aren't interested. The second thing is there was a misunderstanding on tickets. I asked Manoj, the coordinator, to pre buy tickets. But, when we got to Taj, Wasim told us that he didn't receive the tickets, so I gave him cash to buy them, and all the other tickets. It appears that the tickets were bought by Manoj. Wasim gave Rajiv all of the receipts, showing that we paid for the tickets so Manoj told us through Rajiv that they would not charge us for the tickets, which is great and I really appreciate it.
