- New Delhi - Following a 6:30am pickup from a hotel in Delhi, travel three hours to Agra via the Yamuna Express Highway.
- Taj Mahal - Arrive in Agra, meet the tour guide, and head out for some sightseeing. Visit the famous Taj Mahal, A UNESCO World Heritage Site. No trip to Agra would be complete without a visit to this shimmering vision of domes and minarets. The world’s best-known tomb stands testimony to the timeless love story of the 17th-century Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan, and his wife, Queen Mumtaz Mahal. (Note: the Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays)
- Agra Fort - Next we visit another UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Agra Fort. Built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, this huge fort is made of red sandstone. The elegant buildings inside reflect an interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles. The maze of the courtyards, mosques, and private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire.
- Priya Restaurant - Take a lunch break provided at the best local restaurant.
- Mehtab Bagh - After lunch, enjoy a photo tour of the Taj Mahal from Mehtab Bagh, also known as the Moonlight Garden. The garden is believed to have been designed by Shah Jahan to view the Taj on moonlit nights, far away from the maddening crowd. The garden complex is situated on the left bank of Yamuna opposite the Taj Mahal. It is a huge square measuring approximately 300x300 meters and in straight alignment with the Taj Mahal. The forestry plantations and agricultural fields provide a green forecourt to Taj Mahal and its reflection in Yamuna.
- Sanskriti’s Imperial Gems - Enjoy some shopping in Agra, which is known for its fabulous handicrafts made of marble and softstone inlay work. The Mughals were great patrons of arts and crafts. Empress Nur Jahan took personal interest and was an accomplished artist herself in zari embroidery work. Agra’s major handicraft products, besides inlay work, include leatherware, brassware, carpets, jewelry, and embroidery work.
- Agra - After a memorable day, travel back to New Delhi with a hotel or airport drop-off.

Fantastic tour with Rocky (Nikita Holidays) - Rocky was an excellent tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the sites we visited, he knew how to get us in by skipping all the lines, and he was very good at helping get the photos I wanted quickly and efficiently. Ultimately the tour of all of Agra’s sites was perfect due to Rocky’s experience. Mr. Raj, when I come again with my family, I hope you can promise I’ll have Rocky again to show everyone the great time I had!

Taj Mahal Sunrise-Agra Fort-Agra Artisan Full Day Tour - My mom and I had such a blast and really learned so much from our guide Rajesh! Both our guide and our driver Prem took such wonderful care of us and let us ask all the questions we could think of. Both of them spoke great English! I highly recommend a tour with them.

100% Recommended Rocky from Nikita Holidays - Bishan and Rocky were great and friendly. We enjoyed ourselves fully and learnt a lot about the history of Taj Mahal and Red Fort

Wonderful experience! - Had an incredible experience on this tour! Our guide, Rajesh was very knowledgeable and explained all the important aspects of Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. He also gave us time to explore the grounds on our own after giving us the historical background. Many professional photographers will ask to take picture, but Rajesh knows all the great places to take pictures so it's easier to just go with his suggestions!

Excellent day trip to Agra from Delhi - Rocky our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable of the area and friendly. We saw Taj Mahal and Agra Fort and learned very much along the way. Highly recommend.
Prem, our driver was also very friendly and skillful on Delhi/Agra roads.
Would complete this trip again.
