Delhi Sightseeing and Drive to Agra.
Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid) - The tour begins with a pick-up from your chosen location at 09:00 AM. Our driver will greet you and then you’ll embark on a sightseeing tour of both Old and New Delhi. Your tour guide will join you en route and assist you throughout the day.
After pick-up, you’ll start your tour with Old Delhi. Your first stop will be Jama Masjid, also known as the Friday Mosque, one of the largest mosques in India. It was constructed by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1644 and 1656 at a cost of 1 million rupees.
Chandni Chowk - Following your visit to Jama Masjid, you’ll explore the narrow streets of Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi with a Rickshaw Ride. In the heart of Old Delhi, Chandni Chowk is a bustling shopping area with markets full of spices, dried fruit, silver jewelry, and vibrant saris. The narrow side streets are packed with tiny shops selling essential oils, stationery, and traditional Indian sweets.
Red Fort - After Chandni Chowk, you’ll view the Red Fort from the outside. Since 70% of the building is occupied by the Indian Army, you’ll see it from the outside and take some pictures. The Red Fort is a historic fort in Delhi, India, and served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors for nearly 200 years, until 1856.
Humayun’s Tomb - After exploring Old Delhi, you’ll take a lunch break. Post-lunch, you’ll proceed to New Delhi. Your first stop will be Humayun’s Tomb, the tomb of Mughal Emperor Humayun. Commissioned by his first wife and chief consort, Empress Bega Begum, in 1569-70, it was designed by Persian architects Mirak Mirza Ghiyas and his son, Sayyid Muhammad.
India Gate - After visiting Humayun’s Tomb, you’ll drive past India Gate. You’ll take pictures while your guide explains the historical significance of this war memorial located on the eastern edge of the ceremonial axis of New Delhi, formerly known as Kingsway.
Parliament House - Following India Gate, you’ll drive past Parliament House. You can take pictures and then proceed to your next monument.
Qutub Minar - After Parliament House, you’ll visit Qutub Minar. The Qutb Minar, also spelled Qutub Minar or Qutab Minar, is a minaret that forms part of the Qutb complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Mehrauli area of Delhi.
Lotus Temple - Your final stop in Delhi will be the Lotus Temple, a Bahá’í House of Worship dedicated in December 1986. Known for its flower-like shape, it has become a prominent attraction in the city. Like all Bahá’í Houses of Worship, the Lotus Temple is open to all, regardless of religion or any other qualification.
After completing your tour of Old and New Delhi, you’ll drive to Agra in the evening. Upon arrival in Agra, you’ll check into your hotel and stay overnight.
Agra Sightseeing and Drive to Jaipur.
Taj Mahal - Early morning pick-up from your hotel at 6 AM to explore the sunrise view of the Taj Mahal. Afterward, you’ll return to the hotel. The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the south bank of the Yamuna river in Agra. Commissioned in 1632 by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan to house the tomb of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal, it also houses the tomb of Shah Jahan himself.
Agra Fort - After visiting the Taj Mahal at sunrise, you’ll return to the hotel. Post-breakfast and check-out, you’ll visit Agra Fort. This historical fort in Agra was the main residence of the Mughal emperors until 1638, when the capital was moved from Agra to Delhi.
Jaipur - After visiting Fatehpur Sikri, you’ll continue your drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival in Jaipur around 7 PM, you’ll check into your hotel and stay overnight.
Jaipur City Tour and Drive back to Delhi.
Jaigarh Fort - Pick-up from your hotel at 8 AM to start your Jaipur sightseeing tour. Your first stop will be Jaigarh Fort, located in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Covering an area of 4 square kilometers, it is situated 11 kilometers from Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Perched high on a hill, it is a major tourist attraction in Jaipur.
Nahargarh Fort - Known for its extended wall that connects it to Jaigarh Fort, Nahargarh Fort was originally named Sudarshangarh but became known as Nahargarh, meaning ‘abode of tigers’. It is famous for its magnificent architecture and the stunning view of the city it offers.
Jal Mahal - Next, you’ll stop at Jal Mahal (Palace on Lake). While entrance is prohibited, you can take some great pictures. Jal Mahal is a palace in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur. The palace and the lake were renovated and enlarged in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Amber.
City Palace of Jaipur - After visiting Hawa Mahal, you’ll visit the City Palace. Established at the same time as Jaipur by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, who moved his court to Jaipur from Amber in 1727, the City Palace was the ceremonial and administrative seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur until 1949.
Jantar Mantar - Jaipur - Next, you’ll visit Jantar Mantar, also known as the observatory. Built by Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh II and completed in 1734, it features the world’s largest stone sundial and is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind - After Jantar Mantar, you’ll stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). While entrance is prohibited, you can take some great pictures. Constructed of red and pink sandstone, Hawa Mahal sits on the edge of the City Palace and extends to the zenana, or women’s chambers. It was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh.
Around 2 PM, you’ll finish your Jaipur sightseeing. You can either depart to Jaipur Airport or drive back to Delhi. If heading to Delhi, you’ll arrive around 8 PM and can depart from either the airport or your hotel.
Patrika Gate - Your final stop will be Patrika Gate, a perfect spot for photography. Around 2 PM, your tour in Jaipur will end. You can then depart to Jaipur Airport or drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi around 8 PM, you can depart from either your hotel or the airport.
