Delhi Sightseeing And Agra

Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid) - We go on a sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi after breakfast in the morning. In Old Delhi, we will visit Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque.

This magnificent mosque in Old Delhi is India’s largest, with a courtyard that can accommodate 25,000 worshippers. It was started in 1644 and completed in 1648 as Shah Jahan’s final architectural extravagance after the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort.

Chandni Chowk - The tour continues with a thrilling rickshaw ride through the bustling and colorful streets of Old Delhi’s famed shopping plaza, Chandni Chowk (Silver Street).

Raj Ghat - After Chandni chowk you will visit the Raj Ghat. On the evening of January 31, 1948, Mahatma Gandhi, India’s “Father of the Nation,” was cremated at Raj Ghat, which is located on the west bank of the river Yamuna. A park with fountains and a variety of exotic trees surrounds a simple open platform inscribed with his final words, ‘Hey Ram’ (Oh God).

Qutub Minar - Qutub Minar in Delhi is one of the world’s highest minarets, standing at 72.5 meters. It is thought to be the earliest edifice, built-in in 1192 by Qutab-ud-din Aibak, to celebrate the entrance of Muslim rulers in the country.

India Gate - The 42-meter-high India Gate, an “Arc-de-Triomphe”-style archway in the middle of a crossroad, stands in the heart of New Delhi. It honors the 70,000 Indian soldiers who died serving for the British Army during World War I, almost identical to its French counterpart. More than 13,516 British and Indian soldiers were killed in the Afghan war of 1919 on the Northwestern Frontier, according to the memorial.

Rashtrapati Bhavan - The Rashtrapati Bhavan is the official residence of the President of India at the western end of the Rajpath in New Delhi, India.

Humayun’s Tomb - It was completed nine years after Humayun’s death, in 1565 A.D., by his senior widow Bega Begam. The garden squares (Chahar bagh) with paths and water channels, as well as the centrally positioned nicely proportioned mausoleum crowned by a double dome, are the most remarkable elements inside the walled enclosure.

Agra - After completing the sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi we will continue our drive to Agra by Yamuna Expressway. Arrive Agra and check in to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur

Taj Mahal - Your driver and guide will arrive at your hotel early in the morning, about 6 a.m. You will then proceed to the Taj Mahal for a sunrise tour. Explore the Taj Mahal’s Majestic Sunrise View and take some amazing photos.

The Taj Mahal was built in 1632 by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to contain the grave of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal, as well as Shah Jahan’s own mausoleum.

Agra Fort - After visiting the Taj Mahal, you will go to the hotel, have breakfast and check out. After that, you will enjoy a rickshaw ride that will take you to Agra Fort.

When the Mughal capital was in Agra, the fort was built by the Mughal emperor Akbar and functioned as the center of government as both a military outpost and a royal home.

Fatehpur Sikri - After visiting Agra Fort you will leave for Jaipur and en route, you will visit Fatehpur Sikri.

Fatehpur Sikri, a primarily red sandstone city 37 kilometers from Agra, was created in honor of the famous Sufi mystic Sheikh Salim Chisti by Mughal Emperor Jalal-ud-din Mohammad Akbar; its magnificence and originality offer an excellent illustration of the emperor’s architectural expertise.

Jaipur Sightseeing and Delhi

Amber fort - After breakfast, go for a breathtaking tour of the Pink City Jaipur. Meet your driver and guide at the hotel, and start your journey to Amber Fort where you will have an elephant ride experience.

The massive Amer Palace Fort, one of Jaipur’s most popular tourist sites, sits atop a tiny hill about 11 kilometers from the city center. The majestic Amer Fort is a sprawling palace complex constructed of pale yellow and pink sandstone and white marble.

City Palace of Jaipur - After Amber fort, you will visit the city palace of Jaipur. The City Palace Complex was conceptualized and constructed by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur, and is located deep within the walled city.

The palace is still home to the last ruling royal family, who live in a separate portion of the palace. It is a wonderful mix of Mughal and Rajput architecture.

Jantar Mantar - Jaipur - After the city palace, you will visit the Observatory (Jantar Mantar).

Jantar Mantar in Jaipur, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the grandest of the five astronomical observatories established by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur.

Jal Mahal - Take a photo stop at Jal Mahal (water palace). The exquisite Jal Mahal or Lake Palace is one of Jaipur’s most attractive sites. The palace appears to float in the middle of Man Sagar Lake, where travelers can admire its exquisite exteriors.

Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind - The poet king Sawai Pratap Singh constructed the Hawa Mahal, or Palace of Winds, in 1799 as a summer resort for himself and his family. It also functioned as a safe haven for the ladies of the royal household.

Birla Mandir Temple - At the base of Moti Dungari stands the Lakshmi-Narayan Temple, or Birla Temple as it is more commonly known. This comparatively recent temple, built completely of white marble and dominating the skyline of south Jaipur, is situated on an elevated platform.

Galtaji Temple - Galtaji (Jaipur Monkey Temple ) is a historic Jaipur pilgrimage site. The picturesque location, set amidst low hills and crowded with locals and tourists alike, contains temples, pavilions, and holy kunds (natural springs and water tanks).
