Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid) - It was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan between 1644 and 1656, and inaugurated by its first Imam, Syed Abdul Ghafoor Shah Bukhari. Situated in the Mughal capital of Shahjahanabad (today Old Delhi), it served as the imperial mosque of the Mughal emperors until the demise of the empire in 1857.

Chandni Chowk - It was built in the 17th century by the Mughal Emperor of India, Shah Jahan, and designed by his daughter, Jahanara. The market was once divided by canals (now closed) to reflect moonlight. It remains one of India’s largest wholesale markets.

Raj Ghat - Raj Ghat is a memorial complex in Delhi, India. The first memorial was dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi where a black marble platform was raised to mark the spot of his cremation on 31 January 1948 and consists of an eternal flame at one end.

India Gate - The foundation stone of India Gate was laid by His Royal Highness, the Duke of Connaught in 1921 and it was designed by Edwin Lutyens. The monument was dedicated to the nation 10 years later by the then Viceroy, Lord Irwin. Another memorial, Amar Jawan Jyoti was added much later, after India got its independence.

Rashtrapati Bhavan - The Foundation Stone of Parliament House was laid on 12 February 1921 by H.R.H. the Duke of Connaught. The construction of the building took six years and the opening ceremony was performed on 18 January 1927 by the then Governor-General of India, Lord Irwin.

Gurudwara Bangla Sahib - Built by Raja Jai Singh, a 17th century ruler, the eighth Sikh guru, Guru Har Krishan stayed there whilst visiting Delhi in 1664, giving aid and fresh water from the well at the house to people who were suffering in a smallpox and cholera epidemic. As such, the waters are reputed to have healing powers.

Swaminarayan Akshardham - It is a tribute to Lord Swaminarayan (1781-1830) who was worshipped as a manifestation of god. The temple is a fine example of architectural prowess that upholds the Hindu cultural legacy of thousands of years. The enormous structure took close to five years to build and was inaugurated on November 6, 2005.

Qutub Minar - The Qutub Minar, also spelled “Qutb Minar,” was built in 1192 by Qutb-ud-din Aibak, the first Sultan and first Muslim ruler of Delhi, and was completed in 1368 by Firoz Shah Tughlaq. The history of building royal tombs dates back to the 13th century, with the square tomb of Iltutmish in Quwwat-ul-Islam mosque.
