Everything you wanted to see in the Old Delhi markets that you'd be afraid to see alone. - Top way to visit the parts of Old Delhi you weren't game to do alone. The tour started right on time. Surprisingly, a car was provided to get us to the places. Many roads around the Red Fort were closed in preparation for Independence Day. My guide was able to navigate this, and we spent time at the large mosque and then ventured into another world by rickshaw through the old market. The colours, the smells, the photos and the memories. My guide Gaurav Giri did a fabulous job explaining it all. Above all, the tour was lots of fun!

A place worth a visit (avoid taking younger kids) - I took the 3 hours Old Delhi tour and to my surprise I was the only one, so a private tour which I was very pleased with. The tour is nicely organised with parts of waking and parts of rickshaw and parts of walk. My tour guide was a lovely hound lady called Neha and very accommodating too. You have to pay for rickshaw rides which are each around 20-40 rupees. I didn’t have any cash with me due to change of plans and she was so nice to pay for me and then takes me to the ATM. She also took photos of me in different spots which was really nice. We finished the tour in 2.5 hours which I think was just enough length.

Wander the Streets, See the Sites - A great tour of Old Delhi! Pros: - Nikhil was a great guide! He showed us not only the standard sites, but some of the interesting alleyways and off-the-beaten-path places. He adapted to our interests and was great! Knew the history, explained the culture, and was enjoyable! - The tour encompasses a few major sites and street markets. A good mix of the imposing historical places and current street markets and spice market. - Enjoyed the spice merchants and the alleyways where the wholesalers package items. Fun riding the rickshaw. - Nikhil had a great recommendation for lunch as well. Cons: - If you've seen the major sites in another tour, about a third of this tour could be a repeat. Just let the guide know what you've already seen. (We revisited one site, and Nikhil's commentary added to the history the previous guide had relayed, so it wasn't repetitive.) - Communication from the tour operator was minimal. Other tours gave details via WhatsApp, informed us in advance of the driver and guide, etc. This one had none of that. But the tour was fine. Just don't expect details in advance. Summary: One of my favorite tours in Delhi.
