Special introduction to street food in Delhi - We had a great hike with Pete. We chose his organization in particular because he does a lot for the community. He took us to different places and told us a lot about the society, culture and the name in Delhi. He introduced us to street food that we would normally not eat without advice. It was a beautiful experience

Highlight of our trip - We went on the evening street food tour with Shiva and Abi. We had chosen a private tour and a pick up from our hotel. They were happy to provide the 60km round trip for a small fee, showing us the sights and engaging friendly and intelligent conversation along the way. The Red Fort at the beginning of the tour was beautifully lit by the full Moon, perfect for a few photos. We crossed the street and were suddenly weaving between our expert guides through the crowded streets of Old New Delhi, full of loud activity, street vendors, rickshaws and delicious mouth watering foodies. They were both thoughtful and flexible and adapted the foodies street tour to suit both of our interests including our tastes, personalities and abilities. The places we visited we wouldn't have found ourselves. From the best samosa to the strange and incredible flavours of Indian sweets. All angles were explored with clear engagement with us and where we would like to go without compromising the taste of Delhi that we really seeked. It was a true experience and made our stay in Delhi amazing! Their support and suggestions became our lifesavers at times throughout our trip of The Golden Triangle (Delhi, Agra and Jaipur) Meeting Shiva and Abi enriched our trip to India and we highly recommend taking one or more of their tours. Namaste 🙏

Busy Walk during Diwali - My husband and I booked this walk through Old Delhi, specifically with Pete because of what they do for the community. We expected everything to be busy, as we were there during Diwali. As such, we also knew that old Delhi and Chandni Chowk would be busy with people shopping. Shiva and a young trainee met us and took us through a decent walk of old Delhi, where we had plenty of food and even visited a Sikh Temple, which we wouldn't have done on our own. Both of them were very patient in the chaos that was Diwali. The tour was decent, but a little uncomfortable, which is where our only issues come into play. Shiva was on his phone quite a bit, which is unprofessional. His trainee was eager to do well, but very shy, and also a bit uncomfortable with the fact his boss was on the phone a lot. The most irritating thing though was when we asked more about Pete and the communities they serve, he just responded, "uh yeah around here". That doesn't really tell me anything. I think the foundation is great and the basic building blocks are there, but if you're going to offer legitimate tours, you need to work on customer service a bit.
