Afternoon tour in old Delhi - Great tour. The spice market is fascinating and the street food was delicious. Vijay led us to the best places which were also safe, so that nobody had Deli belly after

Great introduction to the foods of India. - Vijay was such a great guide; his knowledge of spices and foods taught us a lot. We got to try many foods choosing how much spice we would like but none as spicy as Vijay's though, which being our first few days in Delhi was a bit of a surprise lol

A crazy colourful fabulous place - We were guided through the spice market which is huge and broken down into sections selling different spices and other foods and goods. It is a very busy and mind boggling place and a real feast for the senses. The chilli market was unbelievable and has to be experienced to be believed. Along the way we visited an array of temples and mosques some with historical significance. We had a street food dinner which was excellent and we tasted Chai made with buffalo milk which was delicious. The visit was topped off with a rickshaw ride which really set the adrenaline running. Our guide Vijay was very knowledgeable and made the tour a memorable experience.

Old Delhi Food Tour. - Vijay was great, he is friendly, professional, helpful and has great knowledge of the area and the food including the *coughing, sneezing* part of the tour in the spice markets. I would most definitely recommend anyone coming to India to do at least 1 tour with Vijay (we did 2 in 1 day with him). The food was great and Old Delhi is spectacular in its history.

Fun way to experience and taste the delights of Chandni Chokwk - Another way to experience the chaotic Chandni Chowk market. Our guide showed us the market hunting for cult places on Delhi's food street, sometimes very well known, sometimes well hidden from view, in an amazing mix of flavors and smells: fun pure breads to be filled with refreshing sauces , pungent aloo tikki, boiling jalebi, paranthe Wali Gali, chole bhature, crunchy kachoris with a tender heart. In short, delights for all tastes in a kaleidoscope of tastings, served to perfection by our skilled guide who has shown us among the thousand places of street food those historic, those to avoid and those inevitable for a trip to India. And meanwhile we visited the various areas of the market. I asked to stop x buy some silver rings and with much availability, he guided us to an alley where jewelers occupy the ancient haveli of the great merchants of the turn of the century. Unfortunately, for flight and return reasons, I could not finish the visit with the spice market and further tastings but it was a fantastic way to say goodbye India!
