Excellent guide, driver, and accommodations. - Nabeel (guide) and Jeetu (driver) made my Agra experience lovely. Jeetu picked me up from my hotel in Delhi and got me safely to Agra…we stopped for some delicious chai on the way. His positive demeanor was appreciated on the long drive. Nabeel is one of the best guides I have had in the world (and I have visited 70+ cultural sites with guides). He provided the history and context of each site we visited. I learned the history of the sites, but also about the communities here in Agra. He took some wonderful pictures (my new WhatsApp photo). Prior to entering areas where a tip or service would be offered, he explained the process to me and I never felt pressured. When I asked about things outside the itinerary (e.g., spice shopping), he arranged it. I was guided through each step of this experience and I highly recommend this trip. Although the clouds did not part at Taj Mahal sunrise (I am visiting in the rainy season), my heart was filled with light and appreciation for this beautiful place. I hope to return again and I will definitely book a guided experience here again! Great option if you are traveling alone or in a big group! Oh an I would be remiss if I didn’t mention I chose the 5-Star accommodations options and I was extremely impressed with the Jaypee Hotel that was organized for me.

Overall satisfactory - We took an overnight packaged tour to Agra that included pick up and drop off from/to Delhi Airport. The whole booking process was very easy with very good and prompt communication from the company. All details were provided before we arrived and payment was done after the tour was completed. The driver assigned to us, Mr. Visnu, was very polite, helpful, and accommodating. The car was clean and new. The guide assigned to us, however, is a different matter. He was very impatient, rude at times, and condescending. If you dare ask him something he has explained before, expect to be snapped at. Our group included several elderlies whose first language isn't English. When they did not understand and dared ask him anything, he would say something like "ask someone else, I've explained it 4 or 5 times already" in a I'm-done-dealing-with-idiots-like-you tone. I finally confronted him about it after he did this half a dozen times to us, and he yelled (yes, he was yelling) that this is just his way of speaking. With all due respect, I believe he should have chosen a different job then. His behaviour improved in the afternoon tour, I guess he was afraid we would give him a bad review or maybe not give tips? Out of courtesy, I will not name names, but I hope he would fix his attitude. If not for this, I would give a 5 star, but in this day and age where reviews can be easily bought (mainly from new users with 1 or few contributions), I believe in honesty.
