Haridwar and Rishikesh trip - We had such a fun trip from New Delhi to Haridwar and Rishikesh. Our guide Ajay Kumar who is from Haridwar was so helpful and accommodating. He got us to the ceremonies with great seating, showed us the temples, local markets, walks along the Ganges, etc. Everything was perfect. His english was very good. One of our favorites was a calm, serene and holy place, the Shri Ganga Swaroop ashram. We got to watch many weddings being performed. Very magical. Thanks again for an amazing experience.

Great comparison of two holy cities. - The river in Haridwar was almost non- existent it had been dammed .???. Aarte ceremony authentic and participatory . In Rishikesh it’s very theatrical. More for tourists than pilgrims. A long speech in English at the end by an expat American... boring.
