  • Lotus Temple - The Lotus Temple in Delhi is a Baháʼí House of Worship that opened in December 1986. Known for its flower-like shape, it is a major city attraction. Open to all regardless of religion, the temple features 27 free-standing marble-clad “petals” arranged in groups of three to form nine sides, with nine doors leading to a central hall that can accommodate 1,300 people. The Lotus Temple has received numerous architectural awards and has been featured in various publications.

  • Qutub Minar - Qutub Minar is a minaret and “victory tower” that is part of the Qutb complex, located at the site of Delhi’s oldest fortified city, Lal Kot, founded by the Tomar Rajputs. A UNESCO World Heritage Site in Mehrauli, South Delhi, Qutb Minar is a 72.5-meter tall tower with a base diameter of 14.3 meters, tapering to 2.7 meters at the top.

  • Humayun’s Tomb - Humayun’s Tomb in Delhi is the resting place of Mughal Emperor Humayun. Commissioned by his first wife and chief consort, Empress Bega Begum, in 1569-70, it was designed by Persian architects Mirak Mirza Ghiyas and his son, Sayyid Muhammad.
