A tour stresses on the chronology of the historical events and some of the lesser known spots - Our guide "Jai" has a great rhythm and communication style that makes him engaging throughout the tour (he is a Philosopher!) He mixes in some current day trends in politics and philosophy that the world is currently facing and applies those lessons to not just the past but the present. I liked his teaching style so much that I did the Old town also with him the next day & which I recommend as well, as it follows a nice chronological order of the events after the Hindu, Buddhist and the Mughal nobility. Thanks for your hard work Jai, for the guidance, car and the driver too!

Our best day in India with the best guide. - The best day ever in Delhi with the best guide. So thankful to our guide Mr Jai Singh, he was the owner of his enterprise but he himself came to see us and show us around in his city. Mr Jai operates tours throughout India with the help of his trusted network he built over the years. However in his own city (New Delhi) , he prefers to showaround on his own since he really loves the history and culture of his unique city and he doesn't trusts typical guides who will not do justice to his city's historical background. He took us to many offbeat corners of delhi and one of them was simply an adventure, that was an ancient ruined city of erstwhile Hindu kings, hidden among dense forest cover, the ruins over there were simply imposing and breathtaking. We also saved the exorbitant entry fee of nearby "Qutub Minar " since the ruins offered perfect breathtaking views of the "qutub minar" absolutely for FREE!.. Mr Jai , you are the best!
