New Delhi Sightseeing and Drive to Agra

New Delhi - Our driver and guide will meet you at your hotel or the airport in New Delhi. After meeting the driver, you will embark on a sightseeing tour of New Delhi.

Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid) - One of the largest mosques in India, built in 1652, it can accommodate approximately 25,000 worshipers at once.

Red Fort - Drive past the Red Fort and take photos from the outside.

Chandni Chowk - One of the oldest markets in India, you can drive through this market to get a glimpse of the local bazaar.

Lotus Temple - A Bahai house of worship, famous for its lotus-shaped design.

India Gate - A war memorial built in 1930 in memory of Indian soldiers who died in World War I.

Rashtrapati Bhavan - Drive past the President’s House of India, and you can also see the Parliament of India and other government offices.

Humayun’s Tomb - The first garden tomb in India, built in 1570 by the Mughals, and a UNESCO World Heritage site.

You can have lunch at a local restaurant before driving to Agra (3 hours). Overnight stay in Agra.

Agra - After sightseeing, have lunch at a local restaurant and drive to Agra. Upon arrival in Agra, check into your hotel and rest overnight.

Agra-Fatehpur Sikri-Jaipur

Taj Mahal - At 6:00 AM, meet your driver and guide at the hotel and drive to the Taj Mahal for a sunrise view. Experience the beauty of the marble as the sun’s rays reflect off it. Our guide will explain the history and background of this monument and help you take great photos inside the Taj Mahal.

After the visit, drive back to your hotel and enjoy breakfast. Post-breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Agra Fort. Please note: If you arrive in Agra on a Thursday, you will visit the Taj Mahal on Thursday evening during sunset because the Taj Mahal is closed every Friday.

Agra Fort - A UNESCO World Heritage site built in 1556 by Mughal Emperor Akbar. You will see some of the palaces where the royal family lived and have a wonderful view of the Taj Mahal from the fort.

Fatehpur Sikri - After visiting Agra Fort, drive to Fatehpur Sikri (1-hour drive). This site was the capital of the Mughal Empire in 1570.

Then drive to Jaipur (4-hour drive) and check into your hotel for an overnight stay.

Chand Baori (Stepwell) - A stepwell used to store water, built in the 8th century. It extends approximately 30 meters (100 feet) into the ground, making it one of the deepest and largest stepwells in India.

Jaipur Local Sightseeing

Amber Palace - After breakfast, meet your guide and driver at the hotel and drive to Amber Fort. A hill fort built in 1592 by Raja Mansingh I, offering a beautiful view of the city.

Jal Mahal - Also known as the Water Palace, it was a hunting palace for the royal family members. You can take photos from the outside.

Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind - Built in 1799 from red and pink sandstone, it includes 953 small windows through which the ladies could observe daily life in the city without being seen.

City Palace of Jaipur - A museum and the residence of the King of Jaipur.

Jantar Mantar - Jaipur - An observatory with 19 instruments for time calculation, including the world’s largest sundial.

After this, drive back to your hotel in Jaipur for an overnight stay.

Panna Meena ka Kund - A square-shaped stepwell with adjoining stairs on all four sides and a room on the northern wall. It’s believed this room was used for religious ceremonies before weddings or on popular festival dates.

Gaitore Ki Chhatriyan - The royal crematorium grounds for the Kachwaha, a Rajput clan that ruled the region. Designated by the founder of Jaipur in the 18th century, the site features cenotaphs that resemble a mix of shrunken open-air palaces and ornate towers, marking the spots where former leaders were cremated.

Jaipur to New Delhi

New Delhi - After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Jaipur and drive to New Delhi. Upon arrival in New Delhi, you will be dropped off at your hotel or the New Delhi Airport.

The Best Tour+Guide Service! Beyond 5 Stars - Akash is the perfect guide you'll ever get. I contacted many tour operators months before my trip and Akash has been the most responsive since day 1. He never fails to answer all of my questions patiently for weeks and months before I decided to engage him. Being my first trip to India, I was afraid of many things such as the water, traffic conditions, visa issues etc but Akash helped to arrange everything without a glitch. He arranged two great drivers to take me from Delhi to Agra to Jaipur and back to Delhi. India's traffic is no joke; there's basically no laws on the road so all the cars drive really crazily which freaked me out constantly. But Akash knew my fears and informed his drivers time and again to drive slow and make sure I am ok. He also checked in often on me through text to make sure I felt ok on the roads. He is also super responsible, reliable and helpful and would go out of the way to assure everything is ok. For example I told him I needed a sim card before my trip and he helped me get one even though he did not need to (sim cards in India can only be purchased with an India ID). The places he brought us to were amazing and we had such a great time because of Akash. He also has a great sense of humor and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout which to me was the most important. Would highly recommend him to everyone who is travelling to Delhi/Agra. P0.S. He takes great photos too!

Amazing private tour - Hello, My husband and I visited India this month and we are so happy that we went for the tour provided by Akbran tours. For a real Golden Triangle experience I really reccomend this tour. Our driver, Deepak, picked us up from the airport, and he took very good care of us during the entire period. We had a different guide in every city, all very proffesional, friendly and amazing photographers. I really want to mention about our guide in New Delhi, he was very nice and kind. Akash was waiting for us in Agra, where we had the most beautiful experience. They adapted the tour upon our needs, and our driver even made a hot spot for us during the journey as we had problems with our internet connection. Also, I have to mention that even after the tour has ended, Akash sent me a couple of messages to check how my flight was and if I made it home safely. Thank you for an authentic Indian experience! Amazing 4 day trip - A trully amazing trip, we were accompanied by proffesional staff all the 4 days, having a different guide in each city and Akash himself in Agara. They are not only guides, but also friends, teachers and proffesional photographers that create lifetime memories :) Our driver, Deepak Kumar, was our companion all the way and provided all inclusive services, besides drivind us everywhere safely he even created wifi hotspot for us on the way! If you want a full Golden Triangle experience, I recommend this tour.

Triangle Tour - Without doubt one of the best experience. - Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by Akash and Deepak. They were waiting on me at the airport, my name was mentioned on the board; I felt welcomed. With such a friendly atmosphere l had a fantastic start! The guide and tours were extremely good. Akash has such a warm personality. He is highly motivated guide, knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Constantly he was checking on me, making sure that everything is going well not only with the tour, but also with my hotel room, food at the restaurant, and the ride. Deepak drove long distances in a very professional way, for that he deserves a special thanks. Moreover, he was ready to drive from one location to another as soon as the tour was over. The vehicle was maintained in a great condition. He is a very responsible driver with a friendly personality. I had a wonderful experience during this trip. Great coordination, good hotels, nice restaurants, professional guide and driver!  Many thanks again and I recommend both of them to everyone that would like to experience the culture and places of India.

A Golden Triangle Success - Akash and his team from Akbran Tours was incredibly friendly, patient and knowledgeable with our team of eight. We packed in as much as possible in our eight day tour of the Golden Triangle and Akbran Tours. There was no challenge or request Akash and his team wasn't able to pull off. We felt safe while our group was able to accomplish our goal. I have doubts that any other team but Akbran Tours would be able to provide the level of service and hospitality that they have. If you are looking to see India - don't hesitate to book them!

Just what I was looking for! - Attention single ladies--and, of course, anyone else considering this tour. A female friend of mine who lives in India recommended that I do the Golden Triangle with Akbran tours and I'm so glad she did. They were GREAT! I had the same driver, Meher, the entire time and he was skilled, courteous, and communicated clearly with me. This is important because we traveled long distances and many sections of the country require a skilled driver. All of my tour guides were very knowledgeable, extremely courteous and also flexible. For example, I'm not much of a shopper so they suggested other things I might want to do when I told them that I wasn't interest in markets. Bonus: I was even able to have Akash himself as one of my tour guides which was a true delight. Sundeep was also a true gem. I didn't just learn about the sites I visited, I learned about Indian culture as well. Most important: the guides know exactly what they're doing. For example, they'll show you the best angle for your Taj Mahal picture or even take the shots for you. I had a really nice trip for a really nice price.
