Incredible India - We spend almost two weeks in Rajastan - private tour (my wife and me). Tarun proposed us schedule of our visit. We really saw a lot of India history. Is good to let locals to make their suggestions for the plan of visit. And we stayed in good hotels for reasonable price. We never had any problem about cleanliness in any hotel (as we were warned in advance). Our driver - Gyan - was really incredible. He was speaking good English, he knew a lot of India history and culture, he explained us many things of today life in India. We really wanted to see as much as possible. Gyan always hired for us local guides with good English. Gyan also helped us with restaurants. In this way we tried also lot of local food and we did not have any digestive problems. For us was also important that everything was always on time. Gyan was in front of our accomodation always some minutes before scheduled time. And car was everyday clean. We are nature lovers and we spent some time also in this way. In Rantanbore NP we did not see tiger (Tarun honestly warned us that is hard to see them, he did not have luck yet), we sleped under the stars in Thar desert (great experience, camel riding, homestay..). April in India? It is hot, but days are longer, there are not so many tourists. It is good to take a rest in hottest part of the day (swimming in hotel pool). We always walked in good hiking shoes, we were dressed in long sleeve shirt and long pants and we were not burnt. In Agra we stayed in Crystal Sarovar Hotel (view at Tajmahal from the room, swimming pool at the top also with view at Taj, excellent rooms, good brakfast).) In lot of othes cities we stayed in heritage hotels. Tarun made good choice of them. Do not wait. Visit incredible India with Adventure Holidays Tours.

Incredible India - Just returned from a tour of Rajasthan and an Indian Wedding. Lucky me, I knew the bride and groom when we were yoga students in training. Second trip to India through Adventure Holiday Tours was ever better than the yoga trip before. We had the best driver, Gian, with white seat covers and the most amazing GPS in his head I had ever seen. Rajasthan is full of history and adventure, color and Hindu Gods, animals and curious people who love to take selfies with foreigners, spicy food and chai tea, namaste and honking horns and animals everywhere. Even though Tarun was managing arrangements for so many people, he was always responsive by phone or texting. I love India. This is a good and affordable tour company. Ask for the Heritage Hotels. They were so grand. Go to India. Text Tarun today.

10 amazing days in Rajasthan - We spend 10 amazing days in Rajasthan and Tarun helped a lot to make it work smothly! Due to our schedule, in the first 3 days we had 3 different drivers (in Delhi and Khajuraho) and they were all very good. For the rest of the journey we had one of company's best driver Prem. We were very happy with him! All drivers were professional, helpful, flexible, ponctual, safe drivers and polite. Tips should represent 10%+ of the cost if you are happy with your driver. Cars were in good state and clean. Tarun organized an independent guide in every city which we were globally very satisfied with (especially with guides in Khajuraho, Ali in Agra and Uma in Udaipur). They usually take you in the shops for tourists, but it seems like a part of the business which you can hardly avoid. That was not a harm for us. Tarun is quick in responding emails and what'sApps. He speaks very good English and is clear in his messages (inlike a half dozen driving companies i consulted). I would definitely recommand his company!

Mixed feelings - I booked a car with driver for 3 weeks in around Rajasthan and Agra. Communication with Tarun was excellent - until we paid the deposit. I had to email twice to confirm he had received the deposit. I then asked about assistance with Varanasi, but he took so long to respond (around a week) I had organised it myself. He then again didn't respond when I sent our final itinerary so I did wonder if I had fallen for a scam. I was concerned that there would be no driver to meet us when we arrived. However, we were pleasantly surprised to be met by our driver Bhuppi. Bhuppi was always pleasant and polite. He was a good driver, however he had no Sat Nav, so we got lost at times. To combat this we used my phone (& my data) and plugged it in to the car when we were going somewhere that he was unsure of the road. Bhuppi was very helpful when one of the accommodations we had booked was unsuitable. He helped us out with finding a lovely hotel in Jaipur. All was well until we got to the office to pay. We had paid a deposit prior to our visit and given cash to Bhuppi when we arrived. Mr Sharma then advised that he expected the remainder to be paid in cash or he would charge a whopping 8% extra to pay by card. He advised that as it is 'not going into his pocket' he had to charge extra. He put Tarun on the phone to explain to me why he was charging extra. He was also charging extra for visiting Eklingji temple in Udaipur. Apparently it was because it was outside the city. However. we had visited many places outside the city limits such as the monkey temple in Jaipur. It just seemed like an excuse to add an additional charge. I tried to explain to Tarun that the 8% charge was excessive and regarding the extra to visit Eklingji, we didn't even get to see the temple as Bhuppi had become hopelessly lost (due to the lack of Sat Nav) that by the time we got to the temple it was closed. However, Tarun did not give me a chance to speak. He talked incessantly until I gave up and ended the call. We paid by card (there was no way we could safely carry that amount of money) and left. Mr Sharma did not even say thank you. We were 6 weeks in all in India and this was the only company to charge extra to pay by credit card. All in all mixed feelings. Great trip. Nice driver, but I would not recommend the company.
