If photos are desired, the guide will gladly assist. The Taj Mahal, originally known as the Rauza-i-munawwara, is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the banks of the Yamuna River in Agra, India. Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1632 for his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal, it also contains Shah Jahan’s tomb.

• Agra Fort - After visiting the Taj Mahal, the guide will lead the way to Agra Fort. Tickets will be provided, avoiding the need to queue. Built in 1565 A.D by Mughal Emperor Akbar, Agra Fort is a historic fort in Agra, India. It served as the main residence for Mughal Emperors until 1638, when the capital moved from Agra to Delhi. Before British capture, the Marathas were the last Indian rulers to occupy it. Notable sites within the Red Fort include “DIWAANE - AAM” & “DIWAANE - E - KHAS”. The guided tour lasts approximately 2 hours.
