• New Delhi - Your driver will pick you up from your preferred location in Delhi, Gurgaon, or Noida and drive you to Agra via the Yamuna Expressway, which takes about 3 hours. Feel free to ask the driver for a restroom or tea/coffee break along the way.
• Taj Mahal - Upon arriving in Agra, you’ll meet your tour guide who will take you to the Taj Mahal. The guide will assist you in obtaining your entrance tickets, shoe covers, and a water bottle, all included in the ticket price. The guide will share the history of the Taj Mahal, as well as cultural and traditional insights about India and the city of Agra. The Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and one of India’s most famous monuments, was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1632 and 1653 in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. This white marble mausoleum was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983.
• Agra Fort - Visit Agra Fort, a stunning fort built by the third Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565. Subsequent Mughal emperors added other palaces within the fort, such as Jahangir Palace, Moti Masjid, and Musamman Burj. Shah Jahan spent around eight years imprisoned here, and it is said that he died in Agra Fort. Afterward, your guide will take you to a restaurant or hotel where you can enjoy a delicious meal.
• Mehtab Bagh - Visit the Taj Mahal’s sunset point at Mehtab Bagh, located across the river, to enjoy a beautiful sunset view of the Taj Mahal before driving back to Delhi. Alternatively, you can visit the Itimad-ud-Daulah tomb, also known as the Baby Taj, which is often considered a draft of the Taj Mahal. You can choose to visit either the Itimad-ud-Daulah tomb or Mehtab Bagh.
• New Delhi - Before leaving Agra, if you’d like to explore the local market, you can ask your guide, who will be happy to accommodate your request. Otherwise, you can head back to Delhi, where your driver will drop you off at your desired location. If you wish to modify the tour, please let us know after booking, and we will be happy to make the changes for you.
