The Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple is a Hindu Mandir situated in East Delhi, close to the Yamuna River. The main temple stands 141 feet tall, 316 feet wide, and 356 feet long. It features 20,000 statues, 234 intricately carved pillars, and nine domes. The temple also houses 148 life-sized elephant statues and an 11-foot-high statue of Swaminarayan, an 18th-century yogi and Hindu teacher, positioned beneath the central dome.
The show illustrates the cycle of life through a stunning blend of water and light. As dusk falls, guests will take their seats at this traditional stepwell to enjoy the performance. The narrative is derived from an ancient Sanskrit text, the Kena Upanishad, which journeys to the courtyard of the gods.
