Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid) - Emperor Shah Jahan built this magnificent white marble tomb in India for his beloved wife. Known for its intricate features and bright reflection in a pool, this Mughal artistic gem creates a stunning appearance.

India Gate - Modeled after the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, the imposing India Gate stands 42 meters tall and is made of red sandstone. Initially designed to be lit with oil on anniversaries, the shallow dome atop the gate is now rarely used.

Rashtrapati Bhavan - The official residence of the President of India, Rashtrapati Bhavan, translates to “President’s House” in Hindi. It is located in the heart of India’s capital city, New Delhi.

Raj Ghat - Situated on the banks of the Yamuna River in Delhi, India, Raj Ghat is a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation. The site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated after his assassination on January 31, 1948, is marked by a simple yet significant monument.

Agra Fort - Located in the Indian city of Agra, the Agra Fort, also known as the Red Fort of Agra, is a medieval fort. Before Delhi replaced Agra as the capital in 1638, it served as the main residence of the Mughal rulers. Due to its historical significance during the Mughal Dynasty, it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. The fort is about 2.5 kilometers northwest of its more famous sister monument.

Fatehpur Sikri - Mughal emperor Akbar founded the beautiful city of Fatehpur Sikri in 1571, but it was abandoned after only 15 years! For a brief period, it was the capital of the Mughal Empire and was located about 37 kilometers from Agra. The city, which combines Islamic and Hindu architectural styles, is known for its stunning red sandstone buildings. Unfortunately, a lack of water led to its abandonment.

Imagine 953 intricately carved windows set in a facade resembling a honeycomb. Built in the mid-17th century, this pink sandstone palace was designed more for the royal ladies’ view of street life below than for their own security.

City Palace of Jaipur - The magnificent City Palace in Jaipur features royal residences, courtyards, and museums. The city’s rich history is reflected in its architectural blend of Rajput, Mughal, and European styles. Every visitor to Jaipur must see it.

Jantar Mantar - Jaipur - Rather than being a single structure, the Jantar Mantar in Jaipur is a remarkable collection of 19 astronomical instruments! Built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in the 18th century, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is significant to both history and science enthusiasts.
