Fun experience - This was such a fun experience for adults and children. Much to see, learn and experience. The tobacco ice cream was a big hit, as were the Jungle Gardens.

100% worth it! Amazing experience. - We had such a great time at Avery Island and the Tabasco Factory. The place was immaculate and just stunning. We did the self guided tour and the Cajun experience. I am a Cajun from South Louisiana (we toured in the grade school but I have not been as an adult) but my husband is not so this was his first time in La. It was nice to take him to our sacred hot sauce factory and give him a taste of South Louisiana. Even I was impressed by the Boudin and bread pudding made by the in house chef! Ça c'est tres bon avec dat jelly! We visited the gift shop and I connected with employee, Kathy Hobbs. We passed a good time while sampling the Chipotle Tabasco Ice cream and talking in the shop. She helped me pick out gifts for friends in MS. Kathy was so nice and when the store did not have the size pajama pants that we needed, she later mailed them to me in a care package with a lil lagniappe, as I am a travel nurse and was on assignment in Tupelo, MS and was super homesick. What customer service! This meant so much to me and we have continued our friendship to this day. We also toured the Jungle Gardens and hiked some short trails. !00% recommend.

Tabasco Museum and Jungle Gardens - this was a very interesting place to learn about Tabasco sauce and the Jungle Gardens were great. We hiked a few trails and learned a lot. I do hope that someone in the family will show more interest. The Sucken Garden could be beautiful again with a little work. Went expecting to spend a few hours and ended up staying all day. The price to get in is for both

Worth it! - I thoroughly enjoyed the TABASCO Factory Tour! It was very impressive! I loved the 5S implemented in the facilities and everything was so clean! Avery Island was so beautiful. I loved that the Jungle Gardens driving tour was included too! Beautiful island! Such a paradise! I absolutely loved that this was a self guided driving tour. A perfect thing to do on a hot day inside an air-conditioned car. And we saw gators!

Don't hesitate - This was a fun time, my 7 yr old really had a good time at both the factory and the gardens! I recommend this trip for all ages. We will definitely be returning. The food at the restaurant was very good and the staff was very nice and accommodating. If you get the chance to go, you should go.

Take time to do both tours - We really enjoyed the tour. It is a move at your own pace for both Tabasco and Jungle Gardens. The woman at the ticket booth said we would be able to do both self guided tours in 2 hours tops but moving at a moderate pace we needed about 3.5 hours to do both the Tabasco Factory and the Jungle Gardens tour by car. Both had clean restrooms and both gift shops were enjoyable. Take time to do a tasting at the back of the Tabasco Factory Gift Shop. There is a restaurant on the Tabasco side but we had another tour to get to so we didn't stop. I believe the restaurant closes at 2pm.
