Superb jungle gardens and super interesting factory - Super interesting. Even if we are not an aficionado of Tabasco, the visit is really nice, around this iconic sauce. The tour of the factory is very interesting too. Followed by a picnic in this beautiful Jungle gardens park, with birds, alligators and lush vegetation. A little piece of heaven.

Worth the Walking - This was a fun experience. Musuem was full of information. We did the self guided tour so we took our time exploring. Assembly line was neat to see and then getting to taste all things tobacco in the gift shop was too cool. The Tabasco jalapeño ice cream was so good. Ask for a sample. We ate lunch in the restaurant and their shrimp po boy was HUGE! The Jungle Gardens was a bonus. We seen several gators, birds and lots of huge trees. Lots of info on the map about each stop. We spent 4 hours here in total; touring and exploring. Neat trip.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! - LISA was an amazing host who showed us around, told us some great stories, and answered all of our questions wonderfully. She was so knowledgeable and thoughtful. The tour ends with a chance to try ALL of the Tabasco products, including some soft-serve ice cream options. Avery Island is an amazing place to explore and has some of the most beautiful untouched examples of Louisiana wildlife. Thanks for having us, we loved your great energy, Lisa.

Fun Tobasco/Jungle Gardens Experience - Very interesting and well displayed. I wish we had done a guided tour but they were unavailable on the day we visited. The Jungle Gardens and Bird City were actually the highlight of this already fun tour.

Good to go to the source - On entering the factory area the aroma of tobacco pervades the air, and a pleasant scent it is. The self guided factory was interesting enough as was the jungle garden. We had lunch at the cafe which was excellent and reasonably priced. Naturally we bought some product frigh from the source.

A nice place to tour in South Louisiana. - We enjoyed our visit to the Tabasco plant and museum. It was very informative, well presented, and enjoyable. The gift shop with tasting area was fun. The Jungle Garden tour needed more signage showing the tour path. We visited just a few weeks after a once in a lifetime snow blizzard so the flora was underwhelming. Overall though, we enjoyed our visit.

It was just alright. Not great - The place didn't talk at all about the slavery in that region. Also the jungles didn't show the peppers. I just wanted to see where the peppers are grown! The buddah statue was lame. It was pretty walking around and the explanation of how things are done was good but not great. There were a lot of typos in the information

Bof, bof - Poor interest. I wasn't passionate about bottling the Tabasco bottles. The hagiography of the Mcllhenny family has deeply annoyed me. Fortunately in the ticket price there is a visit to Jungle Gardens.

Average for the two is a 3. Two for the tour and four for gardens - The tour is not much. Only dynamic display is watching the bottling process through large windows. The Jungle garden tour was very nice. Caught the azalea bushes in full bloom. Nice drive with several designated stops.
