Traditional Hands on - My wife and I took our 11 year old daughter to do the Traditional last night and I can’t say enough good things about this. Not only did we learn a lot, but Cam made it feel like we were just hanging out with a buddy we’ve known forever. He was awesome with our daughter and kept her involved the whole time. She hasn’t stopped talking about it. Definitely something I recommend to families or anyone who’s looking to do something a little different. The food was great, but the experience was something we won’t forget. We’ll definitely be back.

A Tasty and Entertaining - We took the Hands-On, Traditions Course, learning to prepare, barbeque shrimp, chicken and andouille sausage jambalaya, and chocolate bread pudding with brandy mocha sauce. Our chef/instructor was Mark. We have been visiting New Orleans for a few decades and have taken several cooking courses during our trips. We highly recommend the Mardi Gras School of Cooking. The class was entertaining, the instruction was insightful, and the food was very tasty. We are looking forward to trying their other classes on our next trip to NOLA.

Excellent food + fun and knowledgeable chef - This was a terrific experience for our last day in New Orleans (Nov 1). Chef Mark did a great one-on-one class with us, teaching us how to make delicious jambalaya, barbecue shrimp and chocolate bread pudding. He was patient, easy-going and had a great sense of humor. We learned a lot. This was one of our favorite meals of the trip! We also left with plenty of leftovers that we enjoyed after a few drinks on Bourbon Street that night. We also wrote down about 10 great recommendations for ingredients to buy and try when we get home to NY. Thank you Chef! Yes Chef!
