Great trip and throughly recommend it. - Dr Lauren’s commentary along the way was fantastic. Very informative and funny too. Loved the sights along the way as well as sitting in the Queens room where you could close your eyes, listen to the music and imagine the days gone by

Relaxing Cruise - This was a very nice tour. We were able to relax while cruising down the Mississippi to the Chalmette Battlefield site. Hearing the history of the area made the cruise educational. I would go on this cruise again but maybe for the Jazz Dinner Cruise next time.

A great way to learn some history and enjoy the Mississippi River - A very nice and scenic trip with a wonderful and entertaining historical narrative along the way. Charles was such a great storyteller! We learned a lot and enjoyed spending a couple of hours on the river and at the battlefield.

A great trip down the Mississippi - A Fantastic & interesting trip down the Mississippi. Lovely paddle steamer, clean, lots of seating on all decks, bar selling alcohol and soft drinks. Charlie chestnut was our tour guide who was so knowledgable without being boring and really helped make the trip so enjoyable. Lots to see and hear about. Well worth the money and would highly recommend.

The food was cheap and... - The food was cheap and like jail food not worth the money. It was a lot of rice with very little meat. The narrator was mono toned and boring . The boat ride was nice But don't waste your money on the food And the battlefield wasn't much to see either.

Overpriced and deceptive promoting - Not much. Food was ok, but no live jazz band that tour description and email confirmation stated would be included. The 1 hr stop at this visitor center where there is a Eurocentric museum, was too long and uneccesary. Go somewhere else for a river tour
