Great tour! - Highly recommend! Scott did an amazing job despite the high volume of traffic from the Eras Tour. Drinks and food were delicious and learned a lot of interesting history.

The highlight of the trip! - Can't rave enough about our guide Scott! A wealth of information & personality! He was exceptionally accommodating even though there was no forewarning that I'm gluten free! Scott made sure I was not left out! If it was possible, I would have given this excursion 10 stars! Bravo Scott!!

Excellent experience - Scott was awesome and very knowledgeable. There was just my friend and I and he was so glad it was just us since we asked questions and had great personality. He made us laugh and learn about the food. He even adjusted part of the menu for my friend who is gluten free. Awesome gumbo and great frog legs. I could not get over how great the food was and the gumbo was my favorite. The hurricane drink was a WOW! Yummy. Then we went on a walking tour and tripped the pralines. The Irish pub Mollys was very cute and my friend had the Irish cold coffee and I had one of special alcohol drinks. Everything was excellent. Scott is a great guide and knows his information. He even told us to go on the purple carriage ride with David and we did and it was great!

A fun thing to do in town. - JD did great job of explaining the history behind the food and drinks....just enough to keep the pace going well.I would recommend this tour for adults. Molly's was particularly a nice little spot and one I will revisit in the future...

Knowledgeable guide, good intro to NOLA food - Guide was extremely knowledgeable and we received a nice variety of NOLA food. Only 3 drinks were provided, so not sure I'd call that too boozy, but nonetheless, it was fun.

Disappointed - So I usually read reviews to determine which tour I will take when I travel so that is what led me to pick this option. The food was good, drinks were not small but I took issue with the “tour guide” that quickly told us from the start “Don’t call me a F**king tour guide, I’m not a F**king tour guide.” Mind you no one had called him anything at that point. We were just meeting him and he set the tone for the rest of the afternoon and it took all I had not to ditch the tour and go on my own. He seemed to have a lot of knowledge about the food but spoke to fast we couldn’t retain half what he said. His spill was very opinion based on others, he made disparaging remarks about specific people like that chef is a racist while pointing to a chef’s book in a store, or don’t give your money to these restaurants they are awful people, just on and on. We wouldn’t even have known who these “racist, horrible” people were if he didn’t bring them to light. I have been on numerous tours in numerous cities and countries, I like when there is more back and forth interaction, less profanity (and I curse but every other word being F**k was a bit much when I was wanting to hear about the food and great places to eat). And I definitely could have done without all the negativity about local people. I think he tried too hard to be funny at others expense, to appear to be more in the “know” about local politics, food culture to elevate his appearance of being knowledgeable which wasn’t necessary. Others in the tour didn’t seem as bothered by his personality maybe it was just me.
