Great tour to get to know Nola - This was our first trip to NOLA and we had no idea what to expect. We went back in March but I'm writing this review now because a friend of mine is going and asked for recommendations. I remembered how we had a great time on this tour with Lisa! She truly has a passion for this city and food and history. We learned about the local culture and what are the best things to try while in NOLA. All of the foods we tried were fantastic, we even went back to a few places. 10/10

Great food tour, definitely recommend if you’re considering one - Kaffey was a great host, she brought a tote bag with ‘the trinity’ and starting from there shared with us so much details around creole and cajun food, things to know about the French Quarter! We had chargrilled oysters, muffuletta, praline, gumbo and banana foster beignet (last one was my favorite!), had a great conversation about culture and different experience of the guests joining the group. I really enjoyed trying out best food that french quarter has to offer and enjoyed meeting new people! Thank you Kaffey for hosting us!

NOLA a great escape! - Loved every minute! Choose your adventures wisely. Many of the tours are the same with different names. A must tour is haunted history bus tour! Make sure you get Drew for a guide! The adults only wicked history walking tour is a must. Ask for Yah Yah! Head to Morning Call for your beignets! The Audobon Aquarium is beautiful! And a ride on the steamboat paddle wheel "Natchez" is a wonderful way to see the city via the Mississippi! Most importantly, take a Honey Island Swamp tour with Captain Hunter!

Very successful - We got to know traditional dishes and places. The time was well allocated, we could enjoy the tastings in peace. Our guide Kaffey has been able to tell a lot about the origin of the food.

Great way to sample NOLA's traditional dishes - Brian was a great tour guide, very personable and informative. Our tour was on a Monday which meant that some dining establishments were closed, so instead of going to six places, we were only able to go to four. Our meeting place and first stop was Felix's Restaurant & Oyster Bar where we had char-grilled oysters. I've never had oysters and I'm not a big seafood fan but I'm always up for trying something new and they were DELICIOUS; cooked with butter, parmesan cheese, and breadcrumbs, and very tender. Our second stop was Royal House Oyster Bar where we had chicken and andouille gumbo and crawfish toast, both were very good. A quick stop at Leah's Pralines for a praline (and I probably bought a little too much to take home with me) and the final stop at New Orleans Creole cookery where we had jambalaya and a drink (drinks were self-purchased). Even with only stopping at four restaurants, we didn't leave hungry. I would recommend this tour for anyone wanting to sample some of NOLA's traditional dishes.
