Great tour with Lisa - We had a fantastic French Quarter food tour with Lisa. She was so interesting and informative. Our kids (11-year old boys) wanted to give her 6 stars. We learned a lot about New Orleans and the food and had a great time.

Take This Food Tour! Ask for Gordon! - We had a fabulous French Quarter Food Tour today with Gordon. Five excellent stops featuring traditional New Orleans dishes. From chargrilled oysters to red beans and rice, the flavors were exquisite. Along the way, we enjoyed conversations about history and culture that you cannot get from a book. We would do this tour again tomorrow in a heartbeat. Gordon did an outstanding job.

Taste of New Orleans! - Really enjoyed this Foodie Tour! We had 5 stops at various restaurants and had chargrilled oysters, gumbo, crawfish bread, pralines, and bananas foster beignets. We also had the opportunity to order the perfect handmade hurricane cocktail. It was a beautiful day to walk outside, listen to music on the streets, and see some neighborhood architecture. Our tour guide, Lisa, was the best part - she made the vibrancy of New Orleans come alive as she talked about history of the establishments, food, culture, and the people. She answered any and all questions with wonderful enthusiasm. You can really tell she loves her city! It was also the perfect amount of walking. Sidewalks of New Orleans are full of character, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes.

Good food. Good fun. - Lisa was an informative and fun tour guide. She was experienced in giving tours and knowledgeable on the history of New Orleans so she was able to answer questions about more than New Orleans cuisine. The food was delicious. It enough of a sample at each stop to feel like you had a full meal. Don’t eat before your tour. Even our picky eaters enjoyed the food which was all unique to New Orleans.

Great Experience - The tour was fantastic. Lisa was our guide and she convinced me to not go with the vegetarian option (i don’t typically like seafood) and it was a great decision. Another member of my family is gluten- free and her choices of dishes were excellent as well! I stepped out of my comfort zone and was offered foods I never would have ordered. Lisa is very knowledgeable and passionate about her city and it shows. She was great company. The spots themselves were sightly and delicious. Truly a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone!

Fantastic Tour with a Wonderful Guide - What a wonderful way to spend a few hours. Kaffey was tremendously kind and knowledgeable for our food tour through the French Quarter, providing cultural context at each stop. The food choices and atmospheres were varied and thoughtful, and it never felt touristy or forced. It was a real highlight of our trip to NOLA.

Set expectations and communicate if those aren’t going to happen. Overall a good experience but could have been better - Our guide was late which wasn’t a great start to the tour. One of the servers at our first stop of Felix’s was rather abrasive but eventually warmed up to us once our tour guide showed up and we settled in. The food was good. I wish we got some more formal history about each dish, the cuisine, and the area and what not. According to the tour information I thought we were supposed to be going to five locations and only ended up going to four-I don’t know if it was the weather that shut down the fifth location as we were there right before the snowstorm of the century. We got a king cake in place of the fifth location but it wasn’t super clear as to why we didn’t go to the fifth restaurant. It would have been nice to go to a local bakery for a king cake rather than getting one the guide brought from a grocery store. Overall, I’m glad we did it and got a variety of good food with good portions.
