Highly recommended! - Great experience and tour guide! I Highly recommend tourists take this tour at the beginning of their trip to get acquainted with the French Quarter and the city in general (our tour guide had coupons and tons of information also)

Fun filled history lesson - We obviously did not expect seeing ghosts. Honestly I did not know what to expect. However, it turned into amazing history lessons filled with stories and legends. I see a lot of bad reviews and how people dropped out inthe middle or how swamp is better. First of all it cannot be compared to swamp as it's two completely different experiences. This tour is one of those where a lot depends on tour guide. Ours (believe her name was Val) was absolutely amazing. Despite scorching heat we truly enjoyed the legends and story telling while learning a lot of history of French quarter. I enjoyed it more than cemetery course which was just too mystic and overexagurated for my taste. My wife and our teenaged kids loved it.

Fun for all - This was my granddaughter's pick. She likes scary stories, and this walking tour was full of some great stories! I wish they sold a book to take home to retell all these stories because they would be great to tell around a campfire. Our tour guide, Kim, was funny, knowledgeable, and patient. She answered all of my granddaughter's questions.

Awesome - Robi was amazing. I learned about more then the ghost and he answered all of my daughters questions. She usually has a lot.

Know the Lore of New Orleans - Kim's experience and professionalism along with her authenticity and engaging spirit made for an enjoyable experience. This tour is not for encountering the spirits but rather for understanding the lore of the city. Well done.

Weekend getaway to NOLA - I would give this a 3 out of 5. We walked by so pretty interesting history locations but the history and lure of the city was missing at times. We met some pretty cool people on the tour that made the experience better. Love the city, which made for the average experience.

Unnecessarily sensationalist and boring. Do the swamp tour instead. - Worst NOLA experience of the stay. The tour guide was difficult to listen to and the tour was exceptionally boring. After over an hour of traipsing around trying to engage I left the tour and went and got a fabulous dinner! This is a city rich in history, culture and legend. It doesn’t need the plastic vampire teeth sensationalism. Not does it need the tour guide maligning other tour companies. I feel cheated out of the chance to hear the legends and history of the city. Also, if you’re an international visitor, the AR is unlikely to work on your device.

Cannot Recommend, Unfortunately - I hate leaving poor reviews, but occasionally it is necessary to instigate improvement. This visit was June 8th, 2024, and I was taking a friend to NOLA for the first time. I have used many services for ghost tours in the area, and like many tours, the guide makes all the difference. Sadly, ours was losing her voice. She couldn’t project more than about 5 feet, and so you couldn’t hear her. This might have been okay if it was a small tour. In fact, when I booked the tour, it said the cap on participants was 14 when most allow 28. Well, that was blatant false advertising. There were 26 in our group. My friend is a technophile, and this tour advertised augmented reality. Well, when the tour started, the guide said it doesn’t work well with android phones. He downloaded an app, and got it to work. You have to scan a QR code at each stop….with 28 people trying at once. Then the images were worthy of an 80s zombie movie, his words. There will always be hiccups when experimenting with new technology, and I absolutely give the tour company props for trying. Sadly, this was not ready for deployment. We gave up and disappeared down an alley off Jackson Square to find our own ghosts.

Very Disappointed - This tour was a waste of money. The tour guide over exaggerated during all of the stories, which took away from what could have been a great history lesson and a great tour of the city. Very disappointed. We ended up leaving because it was so bad.

Unbelievable waste of time and money - Unbelievable waste of time and money! Main points: -Disorganized start -Couldn't hear -Bad storytelling -Bar stop smelled like a cat litter box -AR didn't work Started with a wildly disorganized and LOOONG role call during which no excitement or atmosphere was built. They tried to split us up based on whose name they already called, then seemed confused when we didn't want to go on different tours than our friends/family (???). Our guide, Lesley, seemed kind but I get the impression this company or her manager did not set these employees up well. did not draw me in at all. She didn't have a mic and did not project her voice, so we couldn't hear unless right in front of her AND she was facing you AND the was no other noise. In NOLA. She didn't seem to know that when she turned her head away to point at something while speaking , we couldn't hear her. Storytelling was flat, like hearing about a co-workers weekend. Bad set ups, no suspense.... Nothing to draw you in. Random side points that never went anywhere. Zero attempt at dramatic emphasis. I was not drawn in at all (and I was buzzed and ready for it!). At one point we stopped in a parking lot with high walls and cars all around us, where we were told to look at some high windows that were inside a courtyard, but we couldn't see anything else but 2 windows while we hung out next to the grill of a box truck for 15 minutes listening to a meh story about a courtyard we couldn't see. Ghost stuff was mostly her telling us "there are cold spots and orbs" but didn't tell us what she meant by that or why it mattered. She kept saying she's "read a lot of books" and "these things have been documented" (which is nothing when it's "someone wrote it down"). She forgot to prompt us for the augmented reality app thing until half way through, and it didn't work well anyway. I saw it working on one person's phone for a minute. It wasn't worth the trouble. At one point, we stopped at a bar that smelled HORRIBLY of a cat litter box (like... SO BAD) and was not ready for us with only one bartender. This took so long. YIKES. I left the tour early with my friend, and at least 2 others did too.
