Highly Recommend - Craig did an excellent job giving us history of the City along with telling us about the food and drink we were trying. I would highly recommend this tour. One of the places though we stopped at for a cocktail only, the owner who brought us the drinks, acted like we were inconveniencing him but all the other places were very welcoming.

Good sample of the French Quarter - In town for a business trip and I was able to get a taste and drink of the French Quarter with ease. The tour guide, Nate, was willing to come even though we were a very small group of 4. He had clear speech and good information to share. He obviously knew his stuff and had a passion for the area. I left full and hydrated 😀. I felt super special when we walked right in to a restaurant with a waiting line outside. Quick service everywhere. Decent balance between walking and sitting.

Destination Kitchen with Nate was a win! - We went on a food tour with Nate on a Wednesday night, and as always, doing a food tour in a new city was the perfect way to explore—walking the streets, learning the history, and of course, eating great food. My husband and I have done quite a few food tours, and this one definitely had the most food. And drinks? They were solid too! What really stood out was that the stops weren’t the tourist traps. They introduced us to lesser-known restaurants and bars, one of which we even went back to later because it was just that good. Food tours can be hit or miss depending on the group dynamic, and there were definitely some people who weren’t thrilled that it wasn’t a private tour (even though it was clearly advertised as a group experience). But let’s just say—after a few full-sized cocktails, the mood shifted real fast. Our guide, Nate, was friendly and informative and did a great job of corralling us all. Overall, if you’re in New Orleans, Destination Kitchen’s food tour with Nate is absolutely worth it—especially if you want hefty portions and real drinks, not just tiny samples.

Great way to learn, sip and snack! - We had a great time with our small tour, getting all sorts of history and context for NOLA! Russel was a delight and very accommodating of needs for our group. We all thoroughly enjoyed and would totally recommend this as a fun opportunity to explore the food and drinks of this city in a few hours!

Nate rocks!! - Fantastic tour. Nate is filled with facts about the history of New Orleans. I was very full after eating all the little bites and at one point I felt like I couldn’t eat anymore! Absolutely loved the different cocktails, I used to not like hurricanes, but the one we had was the best I’ve ever had.

Terrific New Orleans Food, Drink, and History Tour by Lauren - Lauren provided an excellent food, drink, and history tour of the French Quarter. As a former chef and long-time resident, she knew the best places to go in this vibrant food scene and could explain the origins of the recipes and the cultural context.
