Friends of the Cabildo tour - What a great way to see the French Quarter! Our guide, Louis, was very knowledgeable and shared interesting stories about the buildings and their architecture. He knew things only a seasoned guide would know—we would highly recommend.

Fun tour with Louis today! - We toured with Louis today and he did a fantastic job of leading us through the French Quarter on a rainy day. He’s an architect and was super knowledgeable about both the city history and architectural history of the buildings. He was also really funny.

History and architecture rolled into one! - This tour combined history, architecture and city planning all in an interesting and engaging way. Kelvin was an enthusiastic guide with a treasure trove of stories of the people of New Orleans that painted a colorful picture of life from LaSalle’s discovery of the area up to modern day. We both enjoyed the tour thoroughly!

Outstanding tour of the French Quarter - I've taken this tour several times, always with friends who come to New Orleans and aren't familiar with the city. The guides are all volunteers and they KNOW New Orleans so well, because they LOVE New Orleans. Our guide last week had her own favorite parts of the French Quarter to show us, and the tour encompassed an extensive historical look at the most important people and events that shaped this amazing part of the city.

Not as expected. - Very disappointing. The 1850 House Museum is closed for repairs; uncertain when it will reopen. Our tour group was a nice small size, and it was a lovely day. It was not what we expected. Our guide led us to several locations where she gave extensive history lessons instead of going to more interesting places and giving specific descriptions of each. Too much time spent standing for lengthy general information rather than walking and seeing more points of interest with concise descriptions.
