Off the beaten track - Great tour of the Creole neighborhood with Lawson. Lawson does not summarize the past between good and evil, he brings all the complexity of human relations in a context of extreme violence but also cultural porosity between people. It gives very useful keys to understanding also in our contemporary era!

FAVOURITE! - Nice meeting. If there is a visit to New Orleans, it is this one, with Lawson! Everything is there: historical details, acute knowledge of the neighborhood from the 17th century to the present day but without ever crashing under the news, humor, elegance, a nice listening to questions, and a real sensitivity. It's simple it was a journey in the journey. I absolutely recommend.

Great. - Excellent visit in perfect French with Lawson. Scholarly but never boring visit, adapted to our knowledge, which allowed us to understand New Orleans between Creoles, Acadians, and other French and Spanish. Differences between Louisiana and other places of slavery.
