Amazing, fun experience! - We had such an amazing experience with tours with Isabelle. Our driver Renee was friendly and very knowledgeable and also a great driver. We would definitely recommend tours by this company, and would book again when we come back. Kristen T.

Informative and well-run - Our pick-up in the morning was prompt and our guide Ellen was super knowledgeable. We learned a lot about Creole culture on the drive to and from the plantations and the plantations themselves were much different than those we’ve toured in Virginia and South Carolina. Whitney was really moving and gave a really important perspective missing from nearly all other tours (in my experience).

AWESOME DAY!!! - Fantastic trip!!! Easy communication with Isabelle, nice driver. I went to the Felicity Plantation where several movies have been filmed, beautiful house. Jacob was very kind to give me the tour of the house. Then Whitney Plantation, so much history and very interesting as well. I can't wait to do the evening tours!!! Book it NOW...

Great 2-plantation tour! - My parents went on this tour from New Orleans and really enjoyed it. The driver, a former chef was informative. The tour itself worked well for them as seniors, a small group for two plantations with information along the way. Picking up at their hotel was a huge plus. In addition, the owner of this small business really cares as she took the time to make sure pickup was correct and said to call her at any time. 5 Stars!

Great tour - Great tour! Gisele talked about Louisiana history while she was driving which was so informative and interesting. Nice to have the small group and the 2 different plantations- one from the perspective of the owners and one from the perspective of the enslaved. Highly recommend this tour!

Very enjoyable - Enjoyable day. Pick up was seamless. Lots of extra info given. Plantation experiences were wonderful so worth doing two different ones as contrasting.

Strongly recommend this tour and tour group! - Do this. Isabelle was very considerate and helped to find the right tour for us. Informative and profoundly impactful tour. We had a docent led tour at Laura, and audio tour at Whitney - both were incredible and historically significant. The tour is sure to inform your perspective on planation life and the experience of slavery. Rene, our tour guide and driver, was educated and entertaining. Very personable and provided in-depth details both about the history of plantation but also on recent events and recommended activities for while were in NOLA. Strongly recommend.

Well worth it! - The docent at Laura Plantation (Lyndie) was phenomenal. The audio tour at Whitney was also good, but it lacked the personalized nature of the first tour. Our driver was knowledgeable, but she complained a bit too much when the tour guide went over 20 minutes. (I understand tours like this are well orchestrated machines, but one mention would have sufficed.)

Great tour’s definitely recommend - I have now completed 4 plantation tours and they have all been great and all different. However the tour of Laura Plantation was exceptional our Tour guide very informative. Whitney tour was self guided and if the weather had been a little kinder I would have taken more time but it was hot and humid. Unfortunately there was no time to stop to get something to eat. Possibly more time needs to be allotted for the Laura Plantation tour as it is very informative. I have done a couple of Isabelle tours and they are great but there were some timing issues on this trip so take plenty of water and a packed lunch.
