Kin was incredible. He... - Kin was incredible. He showed us not just Oak Alley, but several other plantations along the way. He was very knowledgeable and helped us understand the history of New Orleans. He took care of everything so we could just enjoy the day.

Great overview of New Orleans out of the city! - This was a wonderful way to see the surrounding countryside, along with learning about plantation life, and seeing the wildness of the swamp. Kin was outstanding- since it was just the three of us in a very comfortable van, it was more like traveling, talking and asking questions with a friend. Kin was so knowledgeable about the area, and we learned so much more than we would have with a canned speech on a bus.
The plantation was interesting and beautiful. Unfortunately it was too cold for any alligators to be out. But we did see wild pigs and raccoons. Overall, an excellent trip.

Wonderful, special tour - My partner and I had a wonderful time on the tour. The tour is well structured, has a good amount of time allocated, and does not feel rushed or too long. The plantation itself is really interesting and quite an emotional place to visit given the history. However, the best part of the tour was Kindrell. He is incredibly knowledgeable and provided so many facts along the trip, and is very clearly passionate about what he does. His enthusiasm, infectious personality, and desire to give guests a wonderful experience clearly shine through. He truly is the definition of going above-and-beyond. I cannot say enough good things about this tour and Kindrell - it is a must-do for anyone visiting New Orleans!

Amazing tour & tour guide--highly recommend. - We took this Plantation/Swamp tour and our guide, Kindrell, was the best! He was very knowledgeable and personable. He kept us entertained the whole time. He made great suggestions on places to eat and visit while we were on our trip as well. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone coming out to New Orleans, you won't be disappointed.

You’ll never regret tour with him! - We took a very sophisticated and thorough plantation and swamp tour with Kindrell. He was a very kind man with extensive knowledge of all the local sights. If he tells you to do (or not to do) something or go (or not to go) somewhere, trust him without hesitation!
During the plantation tour, he will text you reminders before it starts. For the swamp tour, he will tell you the best spot to sit on the boat so you can be the first one to hold the baby alligator (yes even this detailed)!
In conclusion, the tour with Kindrell was perfect. He truly goes above and beyond to give you the best experience in NOLA, and he absolutely delivered for us. We are grateful to have had him as our guide for the day. You’ll never regret having this guy for your NOLA trip!

One of THE BEST tour guides in all of New Orleans! - Kindrell was amazing! One of THE BEST tour guides in all of New Orleans. My friends and I had traveled to New Orleans for the first time and Kindrell picked us up in front of our hotel. His van was very clean and didn’t smell. He kept the temperature pleasant for us.
Our tour was to the Oak Alley Plantation and a swamp tour. As we drove down to the plantation, he educated us with the rich culture of New Orleans. As we drove by certain buildings and landmarks, he would explain the history of the culture of New Orleans. In his explanation, he joked around and made us laugh. He kept us entertained with showing us some pictures in the car which explained catastrophes that had happened to New Orleans, such as hurricane Katrina. As we drove over the highway that was flooded he showed us a picture. It really put things in perspective.
As we drove to the plantation, he told us about the creole people and the food that they would eat he recommended some restaurants and food to try. Once we got to the plantation, he told us tips to make our visit there more efficient and fun. He provided us with some water and took some pictures for us.
Then we went to the swamp tour and on our way there, we actually saw some gators along the side of the road to which he would stop so that we could actually see the gators.
He texted me a listing of restaurants and after our trip, we tried a couple of the places that he recommended. One of the places that he recommended was a local joint and it wasn’t in the French Quarter so we really felt that we were getting authentic New Orleans style charred oysters! We would have never found this place if it wasn’t for his recommendation.
I would recommend Kindrell on your next tour of the city! You can’t go wrong because he is so knowledgeable and entertaining.

So Much Fun! - This tour was terrific! Kin of K’s Luxury Tours called us personally the night before to let us know what time to expect him at our hotel. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, sharing facts and history as we drove to Oak Alley.
We had a tour and lunch at the plantation, a beautiful place with a terrible history of slavery. The exhibits did a good job of bringing this history to light.
Kin picked us up right on time and we were off to the swamp. He made sure we had one of their best tour guides. Captain Tom was a real character with a lot of interesting facts about the swamp. We saw a ton of alligators as well as wild pigs and birds. We even got to hold a baby alligator!
Kin picked us up again right on time. He provided bottled water and even had phone chargers to borrow which was great as my phone was running low. This was our absolute favorite day I. New Orleans. Do yourself a favor and book this tour!
