Best cemetery tour for the curious and lovers of great storytelling - Full of fun and facts. Sally is so full of knowledge and stories, we could have spent all day at the Metairie cemetery. And I am sure I will go back and do other tours with her. Sally tailored to our interests and the time we had and gave us a terrific tour that was loaded with history and some fantadtic stories that brought great dimension to the spirits and the living of New Orleans. Absolutely terrific.

Great historical experience - The Metairie Cemetery itself is beautiful. Lined with impressive mausoleums of the wealthiest residents of New Orleans and the interior streets are shaded by big trees making it part park. However, the robust history of the cemetery and some of its permanent residents wouldn’t be remotely the same without the impeccable research and presentation by the tour guide Sally. Her passion for the hairy of the city is infectious and the tour could probably be twice as long and I wouldn’t have lost interest.

Best Cemetery tour and guide! - Sally was fantastic! So informative but inclusive and broad with her knowledge and stories. Not just macabe, but historical, human, and fascinating. Best tour we have taken in NoLa by far. Got our steps in for the day too! Follow the text instructions and you can find the meet up with no problem. Bring walking shoes, and a hat and water on hot days because there are trees for shade but not everywhere. Plus if you have a car it's free to get into the cemetery and there's plenty of parking, so you can make a whole day out of exploring this beautiful place.
