Good trip - Tour guide was very informative… nice ride. Watch the 1958 movie The Buccaneer with Charlton Heston playing Andrew Jackson. That movie is about battle that the battlefield this cruise takes you to.

Cool experience - This was a really neat experience. We learned the history of New Orleans and stopped for a short time at Chalmette Battlefield where there is a museum documenting the history of the war of 1812. On the way back to port we learned of the happenings surrounding Hurricane Katrina and how it affected the city. There a bar on board as well as food that you can purchase. The red beans and rice was really good.

Excellent history information - Boat ride and battlefield tour were fair. The historian providing narration was fantastic. Highly recommend anything with Charles Chessnut. I will be subscribing to his podcasts.

Enjoyable and interesting - Let’s start with the negatives: the dinner service was NOT well communicated, only announcing it when first boarded with all the commotion of boarding. Second the battlefield was closed, and the didn’t let us know when we got our tickets and did offer a refund. Charles, the narrator was however, wonderful. He saved the cruise with his knowledge and ability to get his guests to invest in his stories. It didn’t hurt that the day/weather was fabulous.

Disappointed - We took this trip in order to see the battle areas. We booked late the day before and when we got on boat we were told they would not be able to stop. I would think visitor would know about the no stop!

Trip was cancelled, and we never received a refund like they said we would! - The trip was canceled because of a storm. They said if they canceled the trip, you would get a refund. I have sent several emails and phone calls. They said I would get a refund, but it never happened, and it has been over 6 months! Don't trust Trip Advisor!

Not what we expected - Got on the boat to find out it wasn’t going to the battlefield which was why we took the tour. Hassle getting a refund. Viator told us to talk to vendor vendor said creole queen. Kinda ruined the whole experience for us
