From the relaxing comfort of our Covered Swamp Tour Boats, we will drift slowly past a 2000 year old Indian Burial Mound, a Cajun cemetery, and a Fishing village! You may see the wildlife that made the Barataria Swamps the Crown Jewel of the Louisiana Purchase.

If you choose the airboat option - you will experience the best of both: a swamp tour and an airboat ride. You will travel at high speeds on the airboat then slow down and stop for pictures. Along the way, you will get a personal tour by your local Captain. Our airboats have stadium style seating, so that the person in front of you does not obstruct your view. Every airboat seat is great for experiencing the tour and viewing the wildlife. Gators will get close……real close!!!

Embark on an unforgettable three-hour journey aboard our cozy, air-conditioned mini-bus for a comprehensive glimpse of New Orleans. A visit to New Orleans wouldn’t be quite right without taking in the city’s highlights and observing some of the regions impacted by the flooding caused by Hurricane Katrina. From there, you’ll be taken into the swamp lands to delve into the history and culture of the Creole people, guided by a certified tour operator, either on a tour boat or an airboat.

Air boat tours are not recommended for pregnant women or for participants with back problems and you must be 48 inches tall to ride the air boats.
Our tour boat is family friendly and comfortable
You may bring snacks if you wish, or purchase them at the swamp tour departure point
Folding wheelchairs are allowed on the city tour, but the driver is not allowed to pick up a person to help them gain entrance. The customer must get into the minibus by themselves or with assistance from family or friends.
Swamp tour boats are wheelchair accessible
Airboats are not wheelchair accessible

Best air boat ride. - Bobby was the best guide!!! Best air boat tour I’ve been on and we got to see gators. Definitely recommend this tour.

Possibly the coolest thing I've done! - The city bus tour was both interesting and informative and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The swamp tour in a small airboat is possibly the coolest thing I've done. Our guide, Bobby, didn't hesitate to go the extra mile to show us hidden corners of the Bayou and I was able to hold a baby alligator. I ended up doing the two tours separately which was a good thing as I got more out of both. Absolutely brilliant.

Wonderful experience. Loved getting up close to the alligators! - Wonderful experience! The guide was very knowledgable and loved getting up close to the alligators. The airboat ride was thrilling slicing through the water at a fast rate of speed but not so fast that it was dangerous.

Don’t miss this one! - We had a party of 4 and had a blast! From wizzing across the water to putting through the bayous to petting a baby alligator. I would highly recommend this trip!
