A great experience - My husband and I really enjoyed this food tour. Our tour guide Beth was funny and informative and we learned some interesting things about New Orleans history. We enjoyed all of the restaurants we visited. The food was delicious and filling and we appreciate that they were able to accommodate our shellfish allergy.

So much food! - You will not leave hungry! So much food to enjoy and a nice sample of what NOLA has to offer. Red beans and rice (our fav of the tour), mufalatta sandwich, catfish po boy, boudin balls, gumbo, pralines, and bread pudding along with a stop at a hot sauce store. Our guide was knowledgeable and very nice. Recommend this tour for sure.

Learning with your lunch. - There was so much excellent food! Come hungry, because you will leave full. John was a fantastic guide. He knows the history and tells the stories behind the food in an engaging manner. My teenage grandchildren enjoyed the history of this amazing city. They thought this was an exceptional lesson and wished more of their school lectures could have been presented the way John shared this information.

Great walking food/history tour - Our tour guide Kat was great and very knowledgeable about all the different foods we ate and the history. It was a perfect mix of eating small bites, walking around and hearing what Kat was saying about the history of it all. All the food we tried was delicious especially the red beans and rice, that was my favorite. Then we tried some Cajun po boys, boudin balls and a muffaleta (I think I’m spelling it right) then we went and got some delicious pralines, went to a hot sauce store and then had some gumbo. It was all so delicious and just the right amount of food.

Gumbo nation activated! - Gumbo Nation! We took this tour in April and it was amazing! We ate in local spots around the area: gumbo, red beans and rice, po boys, pralines. We eventually booked a reservation at one of the spots for our final dinner as the food was soulful. our tour guide was knowledgeable from the grass roots of New Orleans to what New Orleans is now. We enjoyed it!
