Favorite of 3 NOLA tours...love EJ - We LOVED this tour, our favorite of three. Our guide EJ was a former history teacher and his stories were fantastic. So much enthusiasm for the area .... we were ready to look for real estate. Ad the food ... omg ... so delicious. Starting with the first bite to the last, all were delicious. Highly recommend this tour through the very cool Garden District. We spent prior night a bit overwhelmed by Bourbon Street excess the night before so our time on this tour truly made us fall in loe with NOLA.

Must do Tour!!!!! - This tour was absolutely amazing! Mark our tour guide was wonderful! He was so knowledgeable about the food and culture of New Orleans. Not only did we eat some really delicious food but we learned a lot as well. The restaurants that were chosen were done so very wisely and gave a great variety and really showed how much range New Orleans food culture has. If you’re going to do an activity in New Orleans this is it. Please come hungry cause your going to leave full. 10 out of 10 highly recommended.

What a blast! - This tour was so cool! It was actually in my neighborhood, and so I learned more history about my own area than I already knew! Ty was a great tour guide, extremely knowlegeable and also willing to accept my additional tidbits of New Orleans history. What's most fascinating about this tour is that I CANNOT tell you what I ate because the tour changes daily based on what's open or closed! There is plenty of seafood and if you are simply avoiding gluten, you can work around it. If you're truly celiac, this might not be the best tour for you. Otherwise, meat-eaters, pescaterians and vegetarians can all be accommodated overall, with advance notice! We ate so much food that it was a 5 course full meal. THIS IS NOT A SIMPLE TASTING MENU! You will eat generous portions!!! And, you can sample drinks (for extra) in most places. It's so much fun and it's a short 1/2 mile walking tour. It's fabulous! I highly recommend it and plan to bring more of my guests and visitors to this tour!

Perfect combo of Food, History and Culture - We took the New Orleans Secrets Food Tour and were hoping to taste a few different restaurants in New Orleans and I must say this tour far exceeded our expectations! Our tour guide, EJ, was well versed in the culture and history of Louisiana and New Orleans, explained the dishes in detail, helped us get to know how the city was structured currently and historically, discussed the each restaurant in detail as well as the different cuisines it is known for. I do not want to spoil the surprises with the dishes, but let me tell you to bring your appetite! Be prepared to be wowed by these chefs! I have been to New Orleans before, and I appreciated the creative takes on some of the New Orleans staples. We had food allergies and environmental allergies to contend with, and EJ and his team accommodated us all without a hitch! The food was flavorFUL, the portions were generous, so much so that we were embarrassed to be too full towards the end of the tour. Please prepare because you will want to make it to the end! If you are looking for a way to eat creative culinary dishes, learn about the history and culture of New Orleans and have a fun and laid back time, this is the absolute best tour you could book! Highly recommend!

Better Than We Could Have Imagined! - We choose The Magazine Street Foodie Tour. It was amazing from booking through to the last stop! We actually missed our original day due to flight problems and they graciously offered us another day. On top of that they took extra care too make sure our guest with seafood allergies was well taken care of. That's A+ customer service. Another thing that set this apart was they provided a tracking sheet and pen so we could make notes for our memories. Now for the tour, the food and our guide EJ. Great, greater and greatest. We learned so much about Louisiana history and the tour stops matched the cuisine with the stories. And the food! We could not have imagined the different food and all was tasty with a NOLA twist. We all had different favorites and were so full by the end we thought we wouldn't eat dessert. But then it was so tasty, we ate energy single bite. 😋 EJ was a superb guide. He is a local and added his personal story with the history. He even had pictures. You could see and hear the joy and pride in his voice. We highly recommend touring with this company!

Best foodie tour ever! - This is the best Foodie tour! Our guide, BJ was incredible! The locations he chose for the food were all great picks! We had crawfish etouffee covered gator sausage, duck tacos, charbroiled oysters, blue crab beignets, pineapple sorbet, Macaroons and so much more! His knowledge on the history of New Orleans as well as how the food of New Orleans came to be was vast and super fascinating! Come with empty stomachs! You get A LOT of yummy food on this tour.

Don’t think, just book! - Mark was an amazing foodie guide. I don’t know how he narrowed down the places we visited on the tour, but I wouldn’t have wanted to miss any of them. Want to enjoy a cocktail or a beer at a stop? It’s not included, but Mark had great recommendations if you wanted to purchase one on your own. I highly recommend this tour - don’t think, just book!
