Tasting NOLA - Enjoyed learning some of the history behind some of the foods in NOLA. Loved that we got to taste different things at each stop with the option to order a recommended cocktail at some stops (drinks not included in price). Nate was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of NOLA and its cuisine. I highly recommend a food tour, it was fun and delicious!

Loved the cooking class! - Chef did an excellent job of providing a historical context for the food of New Orleans while demonstrating how to make each dish. I got a lot of great tips from him, and learned some new techniques that I am now using to cook for my daughter and her husband :)

Eating your way through the French Quarter - We had a great time I would highly recommend this tour and cooking class. Come hungry because you eat a lot of food our tour guide Jack was entertaining and informative. We started the food tour with a Calas, Then some alligator sausage, dinner, shrimp, Poboy, and some duck and andouille sausage gumbo. The tour ended at the New Orleans school for cooking cooking class. It was a demonstration where they made a delicious crab and corn, bisque and chicken etouffe

This is a great to do at the start of your trip. - Jake was extremely knowledgeable, and it was a joy to hear him speak of the city he obviously loves. The food was truly fantastic. The shrimp poboy was the best I have ever had. The cooking demonstration with Cindy was a fantastic lesson in the Cajon vs Creole cooking differences. Also, be prepared to be full by the end of the tour!

Enjoyable Adventure - Great event with guide that has a lot of knowledge. Good size portions on food tastings. Very hot day but there was ample stops in the shade and restaurants with plenty of air conditioning and restrooms.

Definitely a must-do when visiting New Orleans! - The Walking Food Tour and Jack were great! We purchased the cooking class and it was not clear that this would be an additional 2-hours at the end and we had to wait around 40 minutes for it to start. Although it was a lot of fun, there was some redundancy in information.

Great sample of the area - Susan was a great guide and everything was well planned. The pace was great for the variety of ages we had in our group. We would do this again. Wear good walking shoes.

Don’t accuse people - My tour guide was Susan. First stop she snaps at me, accusing me of recording her. I was not!! I had my phone out to take pictures of the food. Very embarrassing in front of the group. I’ve taken food tours all over this country and never treated like that.
