Awesome job, Robby Rob! - Robby Rob was awesome! We went on a rainy night that turned into a 7 inch rain deluge! He was great and carried on! Got us to dry overhangs so we could hear his stories! He was fun and personable- got to know our group well! I’d recommend to all our friends!! I might have captured one ghost in one of my pics!!!

Hits the Top Haunted spots, but leaves you wanting more. - Our tour guide was very nice and I enjoyed his theatrical presentation moments on the trip. However I was really disappointed at the amount of stops we had. I recall only stopping six times, and I was hoping we would have seen and hear about more.

Interesting but superficial - We’ve heard 5 stories of very diverse backgrounds. A more recent suicide-murder, the casket women, the Laurie Hause, the pirate, and a wealthy person who gambled his mansion away. I guess in a place that is relatively “new” it’s hard to find enough material. What was available could have been nicely woven in the larger context of the city, how the city was build, the attempts to attract more women, more about voodoo and the unique cultural blending. Bottom line more history instead of the legends with references to movies and movie stars instead of historical context

Eh - This tour was a bit gimmicky. Lack of history and more full of true crime type stories.couldn’t tell you why New Orleans has the stereotype/reputation that it does with murders, crime, etc as we were never really informed about that.

Awful, Factually Incorrect Tour Guide - This tour was a massive disappointment. First, the good: The tour meeting place was easy to find, they had bathrooms, and the tour left on time. From there, it was all downhill. Let me preface this by saying I place the blame solely with our tour guide. It seems like Witches Brew has a lot of great tour guides, but ours (who I won't mention by name) was awful. He talked way too much about his personal life and would only tell ghost stories that somehow tied into his life. Which meant we only got a few stories, and missed out on some of the most popular and interesting ones. Most baffling, though, was that he gave false information throughout the tour. Some examples: - He claimed the first pharmacist in the US/New Orleans was a serial killer and he (the tour guide) had tried to get a plaque taken down commemorating this pharmacist. Turns out, it was a different pharmacist who was the serial killer. - He changed facts about the death of Paul Morphy, including that he was a young man who went for a jog before his death... in 1884, at age 47. Over 80 years before jogging was popularized. - He claimed the Pontalba Buildings surrounding Jackson Square were built by the Queen of France. And there's two of them because one wasn't enough space for her. Except they were really built by a wealthy Baroness. - He claimed the real life tragedy of Zack and Addie had an element of cannibalism, which the police have said is simply not true. Worst of all, the tour guide claimed to be a former member of the police, which I believe to be untrue based on how many public facts he got wrong about this case. My wife and I ended up getting drinks after the tour and googling ghost stories on our own because we were so disappointed in the tour. Witches Brew Tours has so many good reviews, so I wouldn't discourage people from using them. Just know you're in for rough time if your tour guide claims to be a former police office.

Boring. Skip it. - More walking than talking. Boring as s hit. We had 27 people in the group and half couldn’t even hear him most of the time. Everybody was competing to be close to him to actually hear something interesting. We followed this tour for well over an hour and it just wasn’t getting any better even getting near the speaker . The group was just entirely too big and it was the money grab. We abandoned the tour. There was no bar stop or anything. Totally regret this waste of time.

Not as advertised. - It wasn’t a premier ghost, voodoo and vampire tour it was more of an architectural tour. Not what we wanted. In the hour and half we stayed in the tour we had only stopped at one voodoo, one vampire and one torture (not even a ghost) place. We left the tour after the guide wanted to take the group to a wedding venue. Definitely false advertisement and very disappointing.

Ghost tour - The tour had a lot of potential but our guide was very disjointed in her story telling, pausing and saying “uh” so often it was difficult to follow the story. The group was also so large - it was difficult to stay together and follow.

Save your money! - You literally didn’t do anything exclusive, all they do is tell stories & walk you around the square & the streets, literally something you can do yourself & just look up the stories on google, definitely not worth the $75 AT ALL. 30min in we stopped at a bar that only takes cash to get a drink, literally have the group left at the bar stop including me because it was just so boring. Do not recommend.
