Unique View of the City - Unique view of the city and its surrounding areas. Our pilot Cameron was great and had lots to say about the different parts of the city. Wish it was longer!

Highly recommend - I surprised by son on a 30 mile tour around New orleans for his delayed 21st birthday trip. We had an amazing flight, the weather was clear and perfect for the trip. I want to comment the pilot and the ground person for being very knowledgeable, experienced and professional. My son is still talking about the experience and we would both highly recommend it for anyone considering a unique way to see New Orleans.

Outstanding Fun! - This was a perfect birthday gift. As a local, it's a view of our city, river & lake that cannot be experienced any other way. We could not have been more pleased with the information that our pilot, Mark, provided that was new to us! We hit sunset perfectly adding to an already remarkable experience. The more detailed review by Sabrinak136 says it all. Definitely worth while and will consider other local "experiences" that are offered.

Amazing flight - Our Pilot, Mark did a remarkable job flying us around the city and giving great knowledge about New Orleans. They also have champagne and chocolates to take onto the helicopter. Great experience!

Exploring the City of NOLA with HeliCo... - This year has definitely changed the way everyone travels. Once a year I always try to become a tourist in my own city and so this year I decided that HeliCo would be one of the local company I would patronize. My son had recently read about helicopters at school and I thought this would be a great way to provide him with additional information on helicopters and an awesome way to see our city from the sky.
I was really impressed with the information the company provided regarding the types of tours and prices. We decided to take the 30 minute tour which provides a great opportunity to see the New Orleans Lake Front Airport, the old Six Flags site, Michoud Assembly Facility, the Superdome, Mississippi River, the Crescent City Connection and so much more. The cost for this trip for two was $361.24
Prior to beginning our journey the young man that checked us in explained all of the safety requirements and how we would properly enter and exit the helicopter. He was really great with my son and he calmed some of my inner fears as well. The pilot had a calm and quiet demeanor but was very good with explaining all of the details about everything we saw during the flight. In addition, he was very careful with the operation of the helicopter as well something that I truly appreciated. My son was quiet during most of the flight because he was amazed by what he saw from the sky. A few days later he asked if we could actually take another HeliCo flight. I assume his question alone is enough proof that he had a great time . I only wish we could take the Papa Noel flight on Christmas Eve. That experience would be really amazing. The cost for that flight is $595.00 per person but I am sure it is worth every penny.
If you are looking for a great time adventure this year without using your passport consider supporting a local business during these challenging times. The money I spent at HeliCo was definitely money well spent and the adventure was so much fun!! I had never imagined what NOLA looks like from a helicopter. Thanks HeliCo for providing me with a glimpse of a city that I have called home forever but have never truly had a birds eye view.
