Delightful Experience - I really enjoyed Roger sharing his knowledge about New Orleans and eating the seafood dishes at places I probably would not have experienced on my own. The food was very delicious and I made a couple of new friends from different places.

Enjoyable and educational seafood tour of the French Quarter - We thoroughly enjoyed our Seafood walking tour with Lyndel. She was very knowledgeable about the history of NOLA and the influences of Creole food. Our food at each stop was good, served quickly enough and left us extremely full! We did this on our first day in NOLA and it was a great way to get an overview of the French Quarter and the types of food available. Highly recommended.

Full on History - This is one of the priciest, but it is worth it. You will definitely leave there feeling full! I liked the fact that the tour guide, Denise, had an origin story behind every thing we ate. And then you walk it as you’re traveling to the different restaurants. I recommend it

Great - Lyndel was fantastic. We loved the local color, history and tidbits as much as the food and it was great. Do not eat before this tour and you will not need to afterward.

The Best - Delicious food, local history and the best tour guide! Our tour guide has lived in New Orleans most of her life and knew so much about local history. She answered all of our questions and shared her experiences as a child growing up in the city. The food was wonderful so come hungry and don't make dinner plans afterward! Thanks Janice for a delightful afternoon!

This was a great tasting... - This was a great tasting of all thing New Orleans in an afternoon. Our guide was very knowledgeable on the history of the area as well as food traditions. Too bad there was a downpour halfway thru melting my pralines.

The guide was great, but the tour was overbooked - Taking a food tour is one of my favorite ways to experience a city in a short period of time. If you've taken a food tour, you will be aware that there is an optimal number of people to have on a tour. I know this because we've done both tours that were too small, which made them awkward, and too big because you couldn't hear anything and the food took too long to come, etc. We booked a tour with TASTEBUD TOURS AND EVENTS LLC for the day we were in NOLA (Dec 2) and even though it was booked completely online, I called and they said they would add another tour and split up the one that was already scheduled so we could join. However, what actually happened was our poor guide, Roger, WHO WAS STELLAR, was stuck with a group of fifteen trying to yell loud enough in Jackson square so that all of us could hear him (we couldn't) and when we got to the first stop, it took an hour just to get 15 po' boys because the place was packed out. Additionally, we couldn't hear anything that was being said, so we had no idea what the second stop was going to be - and when we lost the tour in the crazy crowd that gathered to catch a glimpse of the French President during his visit, we just had no idea where to go. Of the 4-5 stops we were supposed to have on the tour, we got 1. Again, the guide was GREAT. And I'm sure it would have been an awesome tour, if they'd kept it to a manageable size. But the 15 people on the tour made it too much. When I emailed the tour company to bring this all to their attention, I got a reply of, "Thanks for your feedback." and to be honest, after spending about $300+ on the tour, and canceling our dinner reservations because we assumed we wouldn't need them after the tour... I'm a little salty over that response.
