Informative and Fun - Gomez was extremely knowledgeable about not only the history behind voodoo, but New Orleans history in general. He was very informed, welcomed questions, and made the tour a lot of fun while teaching us. He ended the tour with us doing a "second line." This was so informative and fun, I would do it again!

Gomez was such a fun and... - Gomez was such a fun and quirky guide to have, his singing and playing music definitely showed his appreciation for music as a part of new orleans history and culture and how music, nature, and connectedness are central themes to voodoo

A MUST for anyone visiting. - Orion is a fantastic guide who speaks with such reverence and passion for the city of New Orleans, the history of voodoo, and the socioeconomic impacts it had on both the city itself and the development of the music that they are so well known for. The respect that he extends to both the black community, music, voodoo and religious practice, and Marie Laveau herself really shines through his words and gave both my mother and I such a profound appreciation for the culture that we didn’t expect. Not only has it encouraged us to learn further on our own, but it has also opened so many doors for us to explore the beautiful culture New Orleans has to offer in an unexpected way. Would absolutely love to experience this again.

So much more than we even expected! - Scott was great! Very informative and he was very knowledgeable. We had a tour with this company a few days earlier and it was a city tour. That was also really fun too. We had the privilege today of meeting the owner and he was delightful as well. We are from Tucson and decided to try the street tacos from Bons which is the meeting point. We were a little skeptical being from an area with such good tacos. However, they were delicious. This company and restaurant are a first class operation.
