- Lafitte’s Blacksmith Shop Bar - We could spend the entire tour talking about this one area. First, as one of the oldest structures remaining in New Orleans, this epitomizes “Creole Cottages” and as one of the oldest structures remaining in New Orleans, is rumored to be haunted several times over!
- New Orleans Historic Voodoo Museum - Voodoo is not about dolls and hexes. In fact, it is one of the oldest (and most misrepresented) spiritual beliefs in the world. Originated in Africa, the global diaspora of voodoo is complex and mystical.
- Royal Street - The art and of New Orleans represent the agglomeration of cultures that influenced this part of America, from African sculpture to French Rococo - and the modern galleries along Royal Street are a feast for the eyes.
- Pirates Alley - While it is unlikely that pirates actually hung out beside the cathedral and city hall, this street does have quite the history of intrigue and scandal, from Andrew Jackson to William Faulkner.
