Terrific Tour of Treme - I highly recommend the walking tour of Treme with Erin Kidder. She was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the subject of New Orleans' historic African-American neighborhood (the birthplace of jazz!), and spoke of it with true and due respect and appropriate humility for a Caucasian guide. She was generous in the amount of information she eagerly shared and in going the extra mile to thoroughly address questions that came up for us along the way. I loved that she played us bits of songs and speeches that figured in this rich history and brought it a bit to life. Learning about Treme seems like a necessary foundation for really understanding/appreciating the culture of NOLA as a whole; it's sort of its backbone, or, better, its beating heart. I'm happy to say that this tour was one of the highlights of my explorative and very full week there.

Walking tour - Great Company. Very helpful scheduling tours. We used the Go City pass to take the walking tours. Big shout to tour guide Bobby. He was very entertaining while being well informed of the subject. We toor the Saints and Sinners tour. Not for children but he gave us the naked history of the French Quarter. Also Angela’s did a great tour on the Ghosts and Vampire tour.

Go on this tour, it was great! - This was the best history tour we had so far in NoLa. Erin was so passionate and knowledgable. She clearly loves her city. We really learned a lot! She did a lot of research to present this tour and it shows. Take this tour, you will not be disappointed. There's a stop halfway at a coffee place in Treme.
