Enjoyable historical tour, without feeling like I’m at a lecture hall - Sandy was an amazing and informative guide, who paid special attention to not just giving us the facts, but correcting misinformation and Hollywood aggrandizing about voodoo and its cultural significance. She was also hilarious in her delivery. I travel often for fun, and have been on many a tour, and I’d say this one was very informative, enjoyable, and fun. It is also very accessible, to an extent. The walk is about a mile from start to end (not including from wherever you park/are staying) and is mostly flat. Sidewalks and streets in New Orleans are not the most forgiving for mobility aide users, I but I feel this tour/route would be doable. Sandy specifically was very good at projecting her voice to our rather large group, and I’m sure any guide would be able and willing to accommodate folks with hearing needs. Over all great tour and I’d highly recommend any of the New Orleans options from this company!

Great historical experience - Really interesting tour that touched on a lot of topics. Sandy was a great guide who shared a lot of information in a very engaging way - she managed to cover very heavy topics without overwhelming us or making light of them. She happily answered questions and fostered discussion amongst the group. We weren't able to get the full experience in Congo Square because the area was being used for an event, but she made the best of it. Highly recommend if you want some history!

Very informative tour - Nice tour with lots of interesting facts about Voodoo. Our tour guide Sandy has pleasantly disenchanted many myths and secrets, or explained the origins and background. Great tour guide with a lot of knowledge, only unfortunately there is not so much to see.
