An Authentic Journey - Get ready for a journey through the history of NOLA jazz, as told by someone who’s lived, played and written about it! A very special tour told by an authentic musician & historian! Put your listening ears on and hold on tight!

An amazing time learning about my history, things that were not taught in my history lessons. - The gentleman really know the history, it was such a great experience he made you feel like you where there. I really liked how he used his I-Pad to play music and show videos and pictures. I must say we really had a great time and I will be recommending

NOLA Jazz tour - The jazz tour got cancelled. We were offered the Garden District tour for free and took it. The guide was very knowledgeable and personable. The company is excellent to deal with. We will definitely be back and take the jazz tour when we are back in New Orleans.

Took an alternative tour - The tour was cancelled due to the sickness of the guide, but the organizer contacted me in the morning and switched me to a history tour in the afternoon. I wished the tour included more music related content, but the guide David was super knowledgable about Jazz and the history tour turned out to be quite interesting.

Definitely not what we expected (or paid for) - Although the guide seemed very knowledgeable about New Orlean’s musical history, he gave a really disorganised presentation where the stories rambled on and on, and weren’t really connected to each other. The tour was supposed to last 60-90 minutes. After 2 hours of rambling and random stories, we had to stop him and say goodbye. Also, despite the route briefly described in the promotion, we only visited Armstrong Park and traveled a total distance of maybe 200 yards. We never visited, for example, Preservation Hall or anywhere else in French Quarter.
