Knowledgeable, friendly smart tour guide. Knows NYC well!! - Our guide was very good!! She was knowledgeable and well spoken, smart and just a sharp cookie!!! We had a cold wet, rainy day and we made she made the best of it!! Totally will do again!!

Amazing! - We had such an amazing experience with Ms Vivian. Our group consisted of such a wide variety of ages and yet she was able to reach every single one of us. My son who is only 10, loved this tour and Ms Vivian kept his attention the entire trip. Highly recommend

Great Time Seeing the Sights! - This tour was amazing. We saw so much more than what we anticipated. Our guide was knowledgeable and made sure to point out other interesting sites as we travered from point to point. The tour was paced perfectly for all who took the tour. I highly reccommend this tour.

Great tour - Leann was a great tour guide. Very informative and interesting to listen to. She told us everything about the history of the memorial, the Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island.

Abandoned a few times - Our guide (Leann) was rude and did not seem to care about her customers at all. I will cut her a little slack because it was incredibly busy that day. However, she &/or the tour company should have planned for that. As a single traveler, she could weave her way ahead in the security line. As a family of 5, we could not. Leann did not wait, left the meeting spot without one-third of her guests to get in line for the boat. She criticized us for taking too long but luckily, we got on same boat. When leaving Statue of Liberty, Leann said to meet at 2:20. We got there at 2:15 and she had already left to get in line. We think she misjudged the number of people there & left early to make sure she got on the boat. Leann then informed us that “we” decided we were going to skip Ellis Island because we were running out of time. She snapped at her guests and was abrasive. Her only saving grace was that she seemed to know her facts about the statue….don’t know about the others stops because we got off at Ellis Island as planned and she did not. At least one third of her group left her at that point.

Terrible. - The tour group left us. We were only a few minutes late arriving at the meeting place. We called told the tour people we were almost there. Company would not refund price of tour. We were out cab fare and price of tour.

BAD Impression - I paid in advance for myself, wife, daughter, and Granddaughter for guided tour tickets to 911 Memorial and Statue of Liberty including Ellis Island. We were told to go to 2nd Street at Tour date and time of 11:30 am on Friday 13 Dec . Spoke and met with Caesar Nonou (NO HELP). We began our "walking-VIP" Tour. LOL After this we were informed that we had to go to Pier 36 (either walk or pay for a cab). Upon arriving at Pier 36 we were told that we had to wait (with a 5 month old) for approximately 2 hours in the cold wind. We were NEVER told about any of this until we arrived at each location. The chartered boat was ok except we were not allowed to get off at Liberty Island and NOTHING for Ellis Island. The windows on the boat were extremely dirty so we had to go out in the cold to take any pictures. After returning to the dock there was NO assistance in retrieving a cab all the way back to our Hotel on 42nd Street. This was my wife, daughter, and Granddaughter's time to NYC and we will not use or recommend Viator for anything. I also paid on my AMEX card $101.85 on 12/13 AFTER previously paying $150.97 on 11/26. This is a real slap in the face to the tourist industry of NYC. Plan to report this problem and possibly through our attorneys. Charles B Lindsey

Not what we paid for!!! - We booked this tour weeks before our trip to NYC. When we showed up at the meeting place, we quickly realized that the tour was nothing like what we paid for. The itinerary was different from what was advertised. The tour is operated by an 3rd party vendor, attractions4us LLC. The POC told us there was not enough time do 9/11 Memorial & tour Liberty island, so we had to pick which tour we wanted to take. I requested a partial refund and was told one would not be given if we took the tour. Given the stark difference from what was paid for, we refused to go on the tour and requested a refund. To make matters worse, I was told that this is a normal issue with this particular tour. I would not recommend this tour to anyone based on our experience.
