Amazing and unique New York experience - One of the best experiences you can have in NYC! Have lived in the city for 9 years and have learned so much on two tours with Krombie. Absolutely amazing!

Quirky macabre, great evening tour! - Our guide Krombie was great. She had the perfect personality for this tour - approachable with humorous moments and “just creepy enough” insights to spark the imagination. As the author of “Death in New York,” she was both passionate and incredibly knowledgeable on the subject. Not morbid, more quirky macabre. The topics ranged from first recorded deaths to cenotaphs. The route was quite manageable. The southern tip of Manhattan has so much interesting history. The time of the tour, 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm (ish), was nice for the subject and because there’s not a lot of foot traffic in that area in the evening. There is noisy street traffic at times (trucks, mainly), but you can’t really avoid that on any walking tour in New York. Our group had a good time. I would take another tour with Krombie.

Enlightening experience with hilarious guide - Embarking on a solo tour that delved into the unique aspects of death management within New York City proved to be an unexpectedly enlightening experience. What stood out, even more, was our guide — an absolute gem. With a knack for storytelling that was as entertaining as it was informative, Krombie unearthed hidden facets of the city with a hearty amount of laughter. A great experience to peer beyond the city’s bustling life.
