Great tour for New Yorkers and tourists alike! - My family had a wonderful time on this tour! Greg is very knowledgeable about the Eastern European immigrant history of the East Village and gave us loads of fascinating information coupled with delicious food and great conversation. We are native New Yorkers, but every stop on Greg’s tour was a hidden gem we would never have known about otherwise! On top of all of that, Greg himself is a joy to talk to and clearly has a deep love of history, food, culture, and New York.

Fun, informative food tour -- bring curiosity and a good appetite - This East Village Polish Food Tour was a lot of fun and more than what its name describes. Of course, we sampled some great Polish foods from authentic little ethnic restaurants and shops we might otherwise not have noticed. But Greg also showed us and explained some East Village history, including the sites of old theaters and historic churches. He is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and gregarious, eager to answer questions and to share all sorts of esoteric knowledge. We're long-time New Yorkers and we had a great time learning more about our city than we already knew, and I'm sure visitors to the city would also find this tour informative, worthwhile and a fun and unique way to spend an afternoon.

Excellent time for family to connect! Greg is kind and the food is amazing! - We loved exploring a new part of NYC and learning more about our culture and visiting the loveliest shops and eating the homemade, traditional foods with Greg. Greg instantly became part of our family and makes everyone feel comfortable and cared for. He loves what he does and I feel like he should be joining us at Christmas haha. Thank you!

Pierogis and Personality to Spare! - What a fantastic tour! There is nothing I like better than a pierogi in my paws, but what I really enjoyed was learning all about the neighborhood and Polish culture! Greg is not only an expert tour guide, but he is really entertaining. Of Polish descent himself, he offers unique and interesting insights --- and delicious treats! In addition, Greg took the time to get to know our group and focused on our special areas of interest. He made us feel like welcome guests in his home city instead of tourists. If you want a wonderful and scrumptous New York experience, I highly recommend Greg Walks NYC!

Amazing Polish food tour - We did the polish food tour with Greg and it was absolutely fantastic. Greg is an expert in taking you through the city and is just plain fun to be around. What an authentic look at such a cool part of the city!

Greg's a Generous & Entertaining Guide - My adult daughter and I did the Pierogi Tour. Greg was a great communicator and worked with us when the original tour time didn't work for him. We had a lovely early spring day and that helped make it an enjoyable walk through the East Village. It was more than a food tour -- he talked about architecture and history of the neighborhood. Since the tour had been called a "Pierogi Walking Tour" when we signed up, I had expected to taste pierogi from various places, but instead we got a variety of Polish (and a few other Eastern European countries) food -- which wasn't a bad thing, but I'm glad to see it's now labeled as a Polish Food Tour which is more accurate (but note, we did get pierogi among all the variety!). I'm glad we had a nice day since all of the eating took place outside of the establishments (I'm not sure how that would have gone on a cold, rainy day), but we both learned things about a neighborhood we'd already spent a lot of time in and Greg was a pleasure to talk to. Oh -- and the food and the leftovers we got to take back with us were all delicious!

Fun and filling walking Tour of NYC East Village. - Funtime walking, talking, learning interesting tidbits about the East village and trying bites of one delicious food after another. First time having a vanilla egg cream and loved it!
