A great intro to Greenwich village - It was cold and windy but we still had a great time! Cecilia was mindful about the cold and suggested we grab a hot beverage at the start and a half way point. They were also mindful about where the group gathered in terms of wind and sidewalk traffic, which I really appreciated. The stories and history were interesting! I enjoyed learning about the history of Greenwich Village and was really impressed that she acknowledged the Lenape people and the first ones in the area.

Brianna is a great story teller! - Brianna was a fantastic tour guide. She spoke with such enthusiasm and genuine interest at every stop, despite the very cold temperature. My family and I had a wonderful experience and learned a lot about Greenwich village not told in textbooks! It would have been great to go inside a haunted building rather than to just see from the streets, but I still recommend the tour nonetheless.

It was...a tour. - 2.5, rounded up to 3. The tour had a lot of stops, and each stop *did* have a story (suitably illustrated via iPad photographs), but our guide for the evening, "N," had a rather dry delivery. Histories of the places were glossed over in favor of a bloodless retelling of potential ghost sightings. N seemed tired and in a rush, perhaps because the itinerary is so packed and there are so many places to visit? For a lot of the places, it was hard to get engaged in the storytelling--the section inside Washington Square Park was delivered like a graded recitation--though N did come to life in discussions of the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire, the Jefferson Market Library, and the notorious House of Death. No time to take photos, so expect a tour at a quick clip. Was sad Stonewall was glossed over/not discussed because it is a huge part of Greenwich Village history. That being said, if you want to take a safe brisk walk through the Village at night, with a few stories in the mix, this is a good tour for that.
